Is It Beginning? 10 Significant Earthquakes Rock The California Coastline As Mount St. Helens Rumbles Back To Life

Scientists tell us that someday the “Big One” will strike California and large portions of the coastline will plunge into the ocean “almost instantly”. Could it be possible that we are a lot closer to that day than many had anticipated? Over the past several days, there has been a lot of shaking along the North American portion of the Ring of Fire. In particular, during a 24 hour period over the weekend one area of the California coastline was hit by 10 earthquakes of at least magnitude 3.0, and this created such a stir that it made the front page of the Drudge Report. The following comes from a local California newspaper

Ten earthquakes of preliminary magnitudes between 3.0 and 4.5 struck off the coast of Northern California between Saturday and Sunday, the United States Geological Survey reports.

Hopefully all of this shaking will turn out to be nothing, but many are concerned that they could potentially be “foreshocks” of a larger event.

Once the first quake hit early on Saturday, they just kept happening one after another

The first earthquake struck early Saturday morning at a magnitude of 4.3, while a second earthquake, of 3.2 magnitude, rumbled about 30 minutes later. Three additional earthquakes hit between 4:30 p.m. and 5:38 p.m. Saturday in the same area, registering magnitudes between 2.9 and 3.6, USGS reported. A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck that night, at 11:37 p.m.

The geological activity continued into Sunday. USGS reported four earthquakes near Petrolia between 2:18 p.m. and 4:05 p.m. The earthquakes ranged in magnitude from 3.4 to 4.5.

Further south along the Ring of Fire, Mexico was hit by an even larger earthquake on Friday

A strong earthquake jolted southern Mexico on Friday, rattling nerves and swaying tall buildings hundreds of miles away in the capital, but there were no reports of serious damage, injuries or deaths.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the quake had a magnitude of 6.6. It was centered about 10 miles from the city of Tapachula in Chiapas state and struck at a depth of 40 miles.

If you follow my work on a regular basis, then you already know that I have been regularly documenting the dramatic rise in global seismic activity.

The crust of our planet is cracked, and we are just floating on the pieces. Now those pieces appear to be getting increasingly unstable, and that could mean big trouble for all of us.

I know that the weather is nice and that there are lots of good paying jobs out there, but at this point I don’t know why anyone would still want to live along the California coast. In a previous article, I shared a quote from a news story about a scientific study that had come to the conclusion that a massive earthquake “could plunge large parts of California into the sea almost instantly”

The Big One may be overdue to hit California, but scientists near LA have found a new risk for the area during a major earthquake.

They claim that if a major tremor hits the area, it could plunge large parts of California into the sea almost instantly.

The discovery was made after studying the Newport-Inglewood fault, which has long been believed to be one of Southern California’s danger zones.

And there probably will be little to no warning when that occurs.

One day it will seem like everything is just fine, and then disaster will strike.

According to Cal State Fullerton professor Matt Kirby, it is something “that would happen relatively instantaneously”

Cal State Fullerton professor Matt Kirby, who worked with the Leeper on the study, said the sinking would occur quickly and likely result in part of California being covered by the sea.

“It’s something that would happen relatively instantaneously,” Prof Kirby said. “Probably today if it happened, you would see seawater rushing in.”

In other words, by the time you have figured out what is happening it will be too late.

Meanwhile, scientists are alarmed by the drama that continues to unfold at Mount St. Helens.

Most Americans think that it no longer poses an imminent threat, but the truth is that the area around the volcano has been very active in recent years

Since 1980, the area around the volcano has experienced tens of thousands of small earthquakes and numerous minor eruptions.

Most notably, as of 2004, the volcano has been continuously erupting lava, which has created a large dome that is still growing.

Scientists tell us that the dome is “now taller than the Empire State building” and that it continues to grow about five meters a day

He added: “What is really phenomenal is how much rock is still coming out of the ground.

“It’s now taller than the Empire State building.

“It’s coming up at five metres a day, more than 200 metres wide and it’s right here in our back yard.”

It is just a matter of time before we see another eruption like the one that we witnessed back in 1980.

We live at a time when global seismic activity is going to continue to increase, and North America is going to get hit particularly hard because the entire west coast sits directly along the Ring of Fire.

And if you have been a regular reader of my work for a long time, than you already know that I am even more concerned about Mount Rainier than I am about Mount St. Helens. But that is a topic for another article.

I know that there are a lot of people out there that plan to leave the west coast once things start getting really crazy, but when it comes to major seismic events, you might not get any warning.

Hopefully there will not be a major seismic event in the U.S. in the very near future, but without a doubt global seismic activity is on the rise, and all of this shaking on the west coast has a lot of people very, very nervous right now.

Liberals are locusts. Wherever they go they devour and eliminate freedom.

If natural disasters happen in California, watch for a massive exodus of Liberal Locusts. That’s why we need secessions before then and a wall between us and California. With Guard Towers and claymores. Anyone still in california when the wall goes up, is a citizen of a foreign nation and not welcome anymore. passport needed.

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, 4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? 5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ ; and shall deceive many.
7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. 8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

I think they should be given free of charge, all the french fries, fat back and desserts they can eat. Let em eat themselves into oblivion and get out of the way. It’s funny to me that a lot of these people that have no self discipline are the ones causing a lot of our social problems. Look at all the “fattenin hogs” that participate in the antifa stupidity.

It’s a ridiculous notion that “big brother, nanny state” need to be tasked with people’s diets. YOU CANNOT SAVE PEOPLE FROM THEMSELVES. Give em a super spoon or a monster fork and get out of the way.

Has anyone considered that people are stupid because they generally they have been intended to become that way due to what passes for educational curriculum the past 40 or 50 years?

Sadly I think it’s now so ingrained that it’s difficult to fix quickly, but I find it harsh to judge people for going along with the way things are when they are children, then suffering for it as adults and on top of that judged harshly by thos of us who rebelled against the stupid taught in schools.

          Just an opinion…

Something interesting (imo) that I have learned about college professors…

    They are just students.

    I watched:
    earth. nullschool.net
    argo.nullschool.net
    etc.

What seems to happen on the color map is — nothing. Nothing.

That’s the build-up. When it looks clean, you’re watching a pressure cooker with no steam coming out.

CO seems to peak, for hours to days, before an earthquake, imho. Sometimes followed by C02 and SO4, in a flash.

When a professor says, maybe someone can alert the govt to this, and get through, he is treated like any common conspiracy theorist, as best I can tell.

Dutchsinse Youtube channel promotes a theory about fulcrum points and antipodes and makes his own predictions. Let him speak for himself.

imo, I get a more simple, intuitive sense of inertia, with anomalies in Doppler and nature, generally following a straight path.

Booms, in the vicinity of the Santa Barbara tar seep were said to have resulted from training exercises. They said there would be chaff, visible from the distance, as to confuse radar. Maybe, they did. Maybe, that was perfectly true. Maybe, that is not on a geologic scale.

I witnessed gasses, and not particulates, from my armchair vantage point.

  9. This is such a bunch of lies and misleading facts. California is not going to fall into the ocean now or in one hundred years.

The problems in California are caused by having a population of migrants. First migrants were blacks from Southern States, then Mexicans, then various Asians from Vietnam to The Philippines, China, India, and Pakistan and Middle East Countries; all these were gifts from Jewish lawyers, politicians, and counter-culture activists. Thanks. And, btw, idealistic white youth from the sixties followed the Jewish agitators like the Russians followed the Jewish Bolshevik Communists, like useful idiots.

There is nothing new to see here. This has been going on for millions of years. What is very different now, is we can now communicate to world what is happening.
People are gamblers. For example, a recent local problem in which hundreds of homes were destroyed by lava flows, is being re-populated. People want to move, indeed they are moving back in, even knowing it will happen again. Gambling it won’t happen in their lifetimes( good gamble at this point).

  17. Beaumont 2.0 says:

You can get lat and long coordinates, where they have triangulated on an earthquake, etc. When I think about it, for awhile, it seems obvious, that the ‘dry streambed’ was a fault, afterall, or that no plants will ever grow in a perpetually-warm spot of dirt, or nearby rocks had all been scorched, visibly, from the air.

If you go and walk on some of these places, a few days after the earthquake, there is some burning smell, that I can’t place. It might be testable. Not car exhaust, burnt rubber, brakes or electircal. You can tell it was something hot, oftentimes within short walking distance of the road. How do firespotters with FLIR never notice that.

Even if it wasen’t going to fall into the sea you couldn’t pay me to live there now anyway.

  22. Southpaw says:

    Someone doesn’t know their geology.

In a major California earthquake of course there will be enormous damage and it could be catastrophic. But contrary to popular belief, large parts of California are not going to break off and fall into the ocean because those fault lines are strike/slip faults. Large masses of coastal land breaking off and sailing away or sinking to the ocean floor isn’t possible due to the specific type of fault lines in those areas.

  23. Anonymous says:

The people of California have been warned of the coming “Big One” too many times over too long a time. Scientists are good at warning of a coming disaster but they are not good on the question of “When?”. Californians have put the problem aside and gotten on with their daily lives. They’re not unique since most Americans live with some type of possible disaster looming nearby.

  24. Be Informed where art thou?
If I rememember correctly keep an eye on the mid atlantic ridge as a precurser to a large quake in commiefornia.

  25. Maranatha says:

Here is a report about the massive increases in parts of the USA:
Within the central and eastern United States, the number of earthquakes has increased dramatically over the past few years. Between the years 1973–2008, there was an average of 21 earthquakes of magnitude three and larger in the central and eastern United States. This rate jumped to an average of 99 M3+ earthquakes per year in 2009–2013, and the rate continues to rise. In 2014, alone, there were 659 M3 and larger earthquakes. (Posted April 20, 2015 ht tp://earthquake.usgs.gov/research/induced/)

So, the USA used to average 21 earthquakes of a magnitude of 3.0 or larger in its central region, but there were 659 in 2014. This is a massive increase.

A new United States Geological Survey study has found that middle America between Alabama and Montana is experiencing an “unprecedented” and “almost certainly manmade” increase in earthquakes of 3.0 magnitude or greater. In 2011, there were 134 events of that size.

That’s six times more than were normally seen during the 20th century. While the changes in the area’s seismicity began in 2001,
the trend has really accelerated since 2009 , the geologists note. (Madrigal A. Middle America Is Experiencing a Massive Increase in 3.0+ Earthquakes. The Atlantic, April 6, 2012. ht tp://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2012/04/middle-america-is-experiencing-a-massive-increase-in-30-earthquakes/255568/”

Keep whistling in the dark and ignoring the earthquakes.

  28. If you died today in a disaster, is your family protected?

    My answer was no.

You see, I almost died on the Florida Turnpike. A driver was ignoring the rain storm & his station wagon hydroplaned into my truck, which flipped & rolled over a few times. I was lucky to be alive.

And since I handled the bills, insurance, passwords, bank accounts, online accounts, mortgage, etc., my Wife did NOT have easy access to our family’s most important information, which I almost took to the grave.

My Wife never wanted anyone else to be in that situation. So she created The Jazoma Plan, which stores all your important family information in case of emergency.

Available as a 100-page Hardcover Book & an Online Subscription, nobody should worry about the location of important family information during times of grief, stress and uncertainty.

From listing your doctors and medicines, to tracking your insurance policies and legal affairs, The Jazoma Plan covers just about everything important in your life, and puts your critical personal and family data securely at your fingertips.

Nobody likes to talk about disasters and death, but The Jazoma Plan will give you peace of mind.
