The Web Sites They Don’t Want You To Read: “A Few of These Sites May Be Run By Truly Insane People”

The Fort Liberty web site recently published a list of web destinations that they say distribute wildly unbelievable and bombastic claims with little or no reference material or sourcing.

A few of these web sites may be run by truly insane people who actually believe what they publish, but if so that is a small minority. One of the proofs of this is how obviously fake the articles are.

As you’ll note from the list below, many of the sites mentioned are some of the most popular in alternative media with communities in excess of millions of readers monthly.

While there is no doubt that a small percentage of reports being made available in alternative media are inaccurate, that same could be said for mainstream media news. The nature of the news cycle is such that sometimes a report is issued before all the facts are in. To suggest that every site on the list offers only fake news, hoaxes or satire is obviously disingenuous, as web sites that made the list such as Infowars.com, Intellihub.com, NaturalNews.com, BeforeItsNews.com and TheDailySheeple.com regularly cite not one, but multiple sources, often directly from the mainstream, for the news reports and commentary they are issuing.

Thus, the hoax being perpetrated, ironically, appears to be coming from Fort Liberty, rather than the scores of web sites they identify in their list.

What we know from past “lists” identifying many of the same web sites you’ll see below is that these are exactly the web destinations you should be visiting regularly, as they provide a level of news that is often impossible to find through mainstream sources.

We’ve included the list for you below. The original list was published without hyperlinks, presumably because the authors do not want readers to actually visit the web sites in question so that they can determine for themselves the legitimacy of the material. We have thus added clickable links so that you, the reader and independent thinker can make the determination for yourself.

We are, by the way, a bit upset that we did not make this year’s list. It would have been an honor to be listed among some of the world’s leading alternative journalists and information aggregators . We’ll try harder in 2016! However, we are truly thankful that our sister web site The Daily Sheeple (which, incidentally, heavily cites and references a majority of all articles being published) was included in the ranks of the best of the best.

We are somewhat outraged that several top alternative news and information web sites failed to make this list, thus we have included a short list below.

Apologies to anyone we may have missed! (Feel free to post your web site in the comment area below if we dropped the ball and failed to mention you in the lists above!)

We also encourage readers to check out the lower portion of our left sidebar and follow the links under Web Destinations for some other great places to visit.

How mice of them to update my bookmarks for me, and all in one place!

Natural Mews and GlobalResearch are two sites that painstakingly back up their mews with an abundance of sources.

I’d like to make a SHOUT OUT TO ANONYMOUS – Hey Anon, please shut down the ‘fort liberty’ website. A denial of Service attack would suffice. Slam ’em hard!

          • CrackerJack says:

This would be great pinned to the front page for a little while.

I havent heard of some of these sites before and it so nice that they compiled a list for us to explore. Lots of reading ahead.

          • helot says:

Hey, sixpack, there’s no need to shut them down. Just think: people are drawn to the forbidden.

That website inadvertently did a good thing.

If anything, there needs to be more of that.

            A.k.a. ‘Bring It’.

          • Sara says:

Anonymous are just as bad as the elite; actually, the masked, threatening individuals use the same kind of population manipulation they learned from granny and gramps elitist to push what they see as a more righteous agenda. E.g.: Fear, power plays, threats, an unfair and treacherous advantage gained while no one else realized they needed to prepare for attack…

This is just how rich, educated children rebel; half the thrill for them is that society finds them entertaining and they fill a “something different” for our unstable population. In reality, they are a tired rerun for those who know any history.

Those people are NOT “good guys”; they are terrorists.

They try to control people with demands and threats. They hide and attack behind a curtain. This is NOT the type of behavior we should want to show ANY respect for or give encouragement.

They are NOT brave and they are NOT heroes. The ends justify the means in their minds just like those we already despise that clearly control and manipulate our world.

“Anonymous” does not care about the collateral damage (except maybe their own and that’s a strong maybe); the death and destruction their games cause, they are just as bad, if not worse than the visible puppet masters in power.

Their idea that they have a righteous cause is not even remotely relevant because tyranny is still tyranny even if it wears a coat you like. Tomorrow, the weather will change and that coat will come off…then will you like what you see? You better because their means of enforcing their will are evil.

Heroes are the ones who will speak the truth in the OPEN, no matter the cost or risk to themselves. Heroes, whatever the old movies say, do not need to wear a mask. Heroes face their opponent in a head on way, not stabbing them in the back in a blitz and run. Heroes do not bully those not an equal adversary. Heroes do not stop a dozen villains by pulling a Hiroshima on an entire ignorant and “innocent” population.

            Anyway, end rant.

          • -george says:

Actually six, I would like to thank Fort Liberty for all the links to a bunch of sites I haven’t had the opportunity to visit yet. Have compiled all in a list with IP addresses (just in case DNS is torpedoed) to bookmark.

Mac Slavo: if you have no objection, I’ll post it up when it’s finished.

            • no objection — thanks for assembling that — I’ll post that to the community at some point in the future, as well.

              Thank you!

              • -george says:

Never mind Mac, it turns out that I can’t get to most of these sites by using IP addresses b/c most of the pages are on the server of a web-hosting service. One such service was hosting 179 different sites on the same server and IP. I know of no way to specify which site I want to address using just IP.

                bummer

Hillary Clinton Brags About Getting A Pedophile Off The Hook (VIDEO)

“When Hillary Clinton was just beginning her career as an attorney in Fayetteville, Arkansas, she received a request to represent a 41-year-old man by the name of Thomas Alfred Taylor who had been accused of raping a 12-year-old girl whom he had allegedly lured into his car.

Clinton accepted the case, represented Taylor, and succeeded in securing a plea to a much lesser charge.

Years later, Clinton was taped discussing the case (sometime between 1983-1987)…

The audio tapes – obtained and released by the Washington Free Beacon revealed that, not only did Clinton use a number of technicalities and devious tricks to essentially free Taylor, she did so KNOWING full well that he was GUILTY the whole time.

In fact, Clinton even went so far as to slander the victim of the case in her effort to get Taylor a lesser charge than the 30 years he was originally facing.”
      (Activist Post)

      • KY Mom says:

        Direct link to article…

These revelations came out as far back as 2014 yet Clinton continues to paint herself as a tireless advocate for women and children ever since she began her legal career.

Clinton’s comments on the rape trial were taken down during the course of unpublished interviews with Bill and Hillary conducted by reporter Roy Reed in the 1980s while Bill was governor of Arkansas.”

“To this day, the victim still harbors resentment toward Clinton for the way she was treated. In fact, she subscribes many of the obstacles she faced in later life to the trauma caused her by Clinton’s handling of the trial.

“Hillary Clinton took me through Hell,” she stated in an interview with the Daily Beast. “I would say [to Clinton], ‘You took a case of mine in ’75, you lied on me… I realize the truth now, the heart of what you’ve done to me. And you are supposed to be for women? You call that [being] for women, what you done to me? And I hear you on tape laughing.”

      Friggin’ control freaks.

      • Mac from T.O. says:

The louder “they” rant, the more I resist.

      • Seen2013 says:

The purpose of gatekeepers is to keep opposing and alternative solutions from gaining traction in the general populace.

Today’s society has been convinced that public-private mergers are necessary to combat both man-made climate change and overpopulation.
Bare in mind, 1870-90 saw gun control gain its traction by redefining militia aka living language and utilized feeble-minded to first disarm and deny access to the newly redefined ‘regulated militia’ being a government run militia. In 1906, feeble-minded was utilized as the catalyst for population control.

One common trait is that mainstream media and politicians cannot fathom publications that are not massaged in some way by editor, publisher, or etc especially if money isn’t an issue.
Remember the attacks on Ron Paul’s old outlet, the attacks simply focused on you knew about it meaning Paul would ‘approve’ articles published or was approved to make money. The attacks said much more about mainstream media owned by Disney, Comcast, Time Warner, Newscorp, and etc than it did about who was being attacked.

        • helot says:

RE: “In 1906, feeble-minded was utilized as the catalyst for population control.”

When I was young I never understood that line of reasoning. I still don’t. I mean, if a person wasn’t worthy of being locked up in jail, they should enjoy the same rights and responsibilities as everyone else. Free, is Free. I used to think that was The American Way. Being ‘feeble-minded’ isn’t a reason to lock someone up. Seems to me the people who claim otherwise are the ones screaming the loudest about how taxes are so high for them. Why do they have such a problem putting two and two together?

Perhaps with TeeVee, and the characters people like Bruce Dern played, Mass-Man has been convinced otherwise? In other words, conditioning works quite well. So well, in fact, that Mass-Man has no freakiing clue how badly they’re being played.

    6. H Muller says:

Publishing names on a death list is an act of intimidation. Something similar is going on here. Lackies of the NWO establishment are telling people: we are watching you and you’re going down when we declare martial law.

    7. NorthEastWestSouth. says:

SHTF is number one on my list. Thanks Mac.

    8. blahblah says:

It’s pretty hilarious this site posts an “article” about how that redneck trashy militia retard “had his hands up surrendering and was murdered by the FBI” … and then they release a video of him clearly reaching in to his jacket while armed…

      and fucking crickets on here.

      hilarous

    9. Winston Smith says:

The only issue with some of those sites is they sometimes tend to over exaggerate things. Infowars, for example, will at times use overly sensationalistic headlines as click bait. However, most of the stories are well cited and well written and many even come from more mainstream sources.

      • helot says:

RE: “The only issue with some of those sites is they sometimes tend to over exaggerate things.”

        That thought sticks out.

Are they really over-exaggerating? I suppose it depends upon who you ask, who is affected, who doesn’t give a hoot, and, who picks up the bill (or makes a bundle). TheHousingBubbleBlog was my first introduction to that phenomenon.

        There’s just no tellin’.

One thing is for sure, if you mention anything outside the narrative of the main stream media, some people will automatically get this ‘deer in the headlights’ look about them and get all cross-eyed. …It’s like you’re breaking through some hypnotic trance or something.

In my experience, they respond by putting their fingers in their ears and say, “No! No! No!”. Then they twirl and you get the impression they are lost forever.

        • Winston Smith says:

I actually like to take a balanced approach. We have heard the world was going to collapse any day now ever since 2007 or 2008 and it hasn’t. It’s muddled through. So I like to consider the extreme cases presented in both the mainstream press and the more extreme press and question both for logic equally. I called the housing bubble bust before it happened because it made sense in terms of fundamentals. Income was not increasing at anywhere near the same rate as housing prices so logically people could not afford to keep paying ever more for it. People told me I was nuts, that housing never loses value, but I was right. Many issues can be resolved in a similar manner by looking at objective facts, not emotions.

This is not to say that I dismiss the alternative press. Not at all. I think it brings facts and analysis to light that I otherwise would not be exposed to because of just how sanitized the mainstream news tends to be. I want to get to choose that which makes the most logical sense to me. However, when I see emotionally charged rhetoric, I tend to give articles a more critical eye because the author may have lost objectivity due to either strongly held personal beliefs, or a need to drive site traffic. This happens on all news sites though, whether they be alternative or mainstream, so please don’t think I am singling out one over the other. Most writers and reporters have an agenda. It’s up to you to see if it has clouded their judgement and you can only do that by looking at multiple angles on a given story. The truth is usually somewhere in the middle.

    10. John WV says:

Thanks for the list, I have a lot of reading to do!

    11. TOP SECRET says:

Hillary Clinton is well sussed… Be sure your sin will find you out.

    12. Thanks Mac I needed some of other sites to go to. I guess someone is worried that their little packaged stories are falling apart and need to head off the truth at every turn. Although to be honest some of these sites do run some very crazy articles. But even The National Enquirer has broke some big news stories.
It’s funny that this comes out at the same time that this is put on Drudge Report

I think that SHTF Plan should have made the Fort Liberty site “linkable”. I had to look them up myself which took me away from this site. Once I found Fort liberties site I was able to confirm what Mac said. What I found refreshing was reading their comments section. I think shtfplan should have made Fort liberty clickable as it could have sent many of us to their comment section.; something I think they would not like.
Notice how the MSM removed their comment sections? They can’t have actual truthful comments attached to their sites.

        • I was being passive aggressive and did it on purpose… I figured since they wouldn’t link to all of us loons that I would act in kind… Sorry for the inconvenience — it’s rare that we not link to a source.

Lew Rockwell was Rep. Ron Paul’s chief of staff for several terms. Is or was the president of the von Mises Institute. Only a confirmed statist believes individual liberty, austrian economics, and non-interventionist foreign policy to be crazy.

Most statist regressives don’t reach their conclusions by applying principles to evidence. In those circles, “it gives me the warm fuzzies, and all my friends agree” substitutes for thinking.

I do consider some of LRC’s health and lifestyle articles to be nutso, but that’s just one man’s opinion.

          @ Archivist
“That shows they have some kinship to Muslims, as Islam does not believe in cause and effect.”

Puts the lie to the “Golden Age of Islam.” They couldn’t have created a “Golden Age” if scientific thought is alien to them.

More scientific patents out of South Korea in 20 years than out of all of Islam in 1400 years. Why is that?

The Political Traditions of Mohammed the Hadith for the Unbelievers, CSPI, 2006.

Academic MIddle Eastern History types can’t stand that CSPI’s source is Mohammed himself. Five times a day a billion and a half Muslims don’t address any academic as their prophet.

          ht_tp://www.CSPIpublishing_.com ht tp://www.politicalislam_.com.

Facts prevail over apologist opinions. Quoting Mohammed silences apologists because their opinion is inferior to his supreme authority.

If people who love liberty don’t challenge the “religion of peace” bullshit we could be subject to Sharia Law before you know it. The Muslim Brotherhood has been working toward that for 50 years.

John_Allen says: “I do consider some of LRC’s health and lifestyle articles to be nutso,”

Of course you would, you’re probably still worshiping doctors as if they are priests in white robes. That’s ok, keep ignoring the authors on LRC, the world is better off if you do. Line up and get your flu shot, eat more junk food, and sleep less, just show us how well you do, chump.

John_Allen says: “More scientific patents out of South Korea in 20 years than out of all of Islam in 1400 years. Why is that?”

I dunno, maybe because many South Koreans are more into government, regualtions and signing up? A.k.a. obeyers. And just never mind the Arab’s historical contributions of math, science and health. I’d say more, but it seems to me you’re kind of ignorant about history, and you like the status quo. Rock on, dude! Keep on, keepin’ on. Your lack of love for liberty – over your desire to spread hate – is evident, in spades.

    18. Old Guy says:

the best websites and comments are made by the Lunatic Fringe!

    19. TEST says:

“Our job is to give people not what they want, but what we decide they ought to have.”

Former CBS News president Richard Salant. Quoted from You Don’t Say, by Fred Gielow, Freedom Books, 1999. Yep… them thar leftist website sure are a repository of truth.

Some other classics from the lamestream media, also from Gielow:

“I hope his wife feeds him lots of eggs and butter and he dies early like many black men do, of heart disease.”
Liberal USA Today columnist Julianne Malveaux on Clarence Thomas

“Blacks and Hispanics were too busy eating watermelons and tacos to read the fine print on the phony insurance policies.”
Mike Wallace, of 60 Minutes fame

In another from the politically correct jerks at South Park, they have an episode which shows Donald Trump being raped and murdered: killing him off in shocking final scene. Isn’t that nice from the “Love wins” radical gay supporters!! See http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3247124/Controversial-South-Park-episode-shows-Donald-Trump-raped-murdered.html#ixzz3mlUiEM4q

Then there is this classic leftist racist statement. In Oct. 2015, Univ. of Pennsylvania professor Anthea Butler stated that as brain surgeon Ben Carson believes in the 1st Amendment as it applied even to Confederate flags, Butler wants Carson awarded a “Coon of the year” award. (Coon is an insulting term for a black person) See http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/10/06/university-of-pennsylvania-prof-anthea-butler-called-dr-ben-carson-a-coon/ Probably not as bade as the H8TE filled racist headline form GQ in 2015, which ran a piece with the headline, “F**k Ben Carson” (except it didn’t use any asterisks in the first word).

“If there is justice, he’ll get AIDS, or one of his grandchildren will get it.”
NPR’s Nina Totenberg on Jesse Helms, wishing a disease on someone – or his innocent grandchildren – that I wouldn’t want my worst enemy to have.

      • helot says:

RE:”“I hope his wife feeds him lots of eggs and butter and he dies early like many black men do, of heart disease.””

Yup, did you see the video going viral about the 110 year old man who regularly shoveled the snow off his neighbors sidewalks?

When asked his secrets for living a long life, part of his answer was: Bacon and Eggs for Breakfast, Every Day!

That’s the same kind of advise you’d find on LRC (Hint to people like John_Allen who don’t want to be like John_Allen, i.e. clueless, sickly, and die young) eat fat.
And, don’t stomp on your neighbors.

    20. Indigo says:

That’s pretty much all the alterntive news sites.
So they are all insane……….I think not.Looks like we have an article done by a troll.

    21. TEST says:

      So, let’s see:

Walter “I don’t see now stinkin’ starving Kulaks” in Stalin’s Ukraine during the Holomodor, is valid news?? That, of course, in the NY Slimes, which also employed newspaper writer/fiction writer Jayson Blair… until his stories were outed as complete fabrications.

Then there is my fav, Nobel Prize winner Rigoberta Menchú, who was found out accidentally be a leftist professor, who inadvertently let the cat out of the bag – and promptly received massive opprobrium from the left for **letting the TRUTH out***

The lamestream media IS the problem.

      • TEST says:

**&@@_#(#*!! I meant Walter Duranty, the disgusting NYT writer in the 30s

      • helot says:

For sure, TEST. I almost picked ‘Kulak’ as my nic. But, I thought helot was more universal. They are just about the same, I think.

Recently, LRC had an article about the Kulaks and Stalin and how Stalin’s crimes went down the MSM memory hole. Imho, it’s quite sad how people gloss over those facts. It’s as if the lives of individual People didn’t matter. It makes me wonder if we’re surrounded by psychopaths, 90:1?

When I read about stuff like that on LRC it makes me a bit ill to think of the humans who would slam LRC (DK, et al.), I think maybe their wires were crossed while in combat, or maybe the shots they got as babies (or while in line to get dog tags?) messed them up? Or, maybe it’s just cause of a lack of grace? I dunno?
I do hope they’ll ‘come around’ some day and wise up.
But, I’m not holding my breath.

    22. Why does no one include Press TV out of Iran? They are one of the much needed voices in the alt media. Along with the Corbett report, what really happened.com, and boiling frogs post by Sibel Edmonds!!!

      • Thanks – completely forgot to add these guys – will get these added to the list!

      • helot says:

RE: ‘boiling frogs post by Sibel Edmonds’

Yeah, yeah, she’s good, has some great info, but I try to avoid her website – she’s freakin’ HOT! – and, I want to stay married. …Put her out of my mind, look away, that sort of thing. Know what I mean?

      • helot says:

Also, isn’t the Corbett report the one who produced that video about 9/11? The one where they said, “Some men in a cave out-smarted the world’s most sophisticated….”?

That was a Very good video.

I don’t understand how anyone can view that video and not walk away shaking their heads while wondering just whom is it we’re fighting for.

Wow no davidicke mentioned. I guess those repetilians are running amoke around us.

I just added the saker below but Everytime I type it in it gets wiped. Not the first time. The site is hosted out of Iceland by the way.

I’ve come across that name before, Moon of Alabama.

I don’t have any bad vibes for that like I do the reptile people websites.

Moon of Alabama reminds me of the book, ‘The Moon is Down’ Have you ever read that? It’s worthwhile. It’s free and online.

Which reminds me, Claire Wolf’s blog should be on the hit list: backwoodshome.com/blogs/ClaireWolfe/

“on the hit list” well, that sure is creepy. I hadn’t thought of the list like that til now.

    25. I am mad as hell and I am NOT going to take it any more!!!

http://www.goldsilver.com – another good aggregator of contrarian finance/pm news.

jounal-neo.org (New Eastern Review)alt news from overseas.

doesn’t britain also have some good contrarian sites? this list is by no means complete, US-ers have to expand their horizons to the rest of the world.

you could do another whole long sublist of contrarian finance and precious metal sites (avoiding those who are just pushing the sale of metals).

I would also add a long sublist of paleo/lowcarb sites.

Economics, health and nutrition are some of the great hoaxes of our day. (low-fat, low-cholesterol, low-salt are all scientifically verified hoaxes). Peer-review of scientific journals is a hoax.

      • helot says:

You got it, not me. For example:

“the medical drugs the FDA certifies as safe are killing 106,000 Americans per year.”

        https://jonrappoport.wordpress.com/2014/02/09/the-starfield-revelations/

Meanwhile, it seems that more than ever people are saying they trust their priests in white robes, a.k.a doctors, in spite of this comment from Marcia Angell, MD. which was lost down the memory hole: “It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.”

        https://jonrappoport.wordpress.com/2012/06/29/how-medical-criminals-are-faking-medical-science-every-day/

Unbeknownced to some, outfits like Walgreen’s (it’s pretty sad Walgreen’s is in spellcheck) – or your local friendly grocery store – rake in millions from the insurance companies of people who walk into their stores to get ‘free’ flu shots, all the while those people are oblivious of the risks:

New Flu Shots Could Make the Flu the Least of Your Problems

        http://naturalsociety.com/new-flu-shot-fluad-novartis-vaccine-danger/

Those same friendly white robed priests wielding sharp needles will tell you that, Drinking water is encouraged. What’s potentially in the water (and maybe in everyone’s food, too?) is glossed over or ignored in the MSM:

        “PFCs are extremely persistent.” …

        https://www.lewrockwell.com/2016/01/joseph-mercola/filter-water/

I can see why people don’t want to know or be aware. It’s overwhelming and it’s no wonder people become a kidadult and metaphorically or physically drop a hit of acid (or whatever it is they take these daze, maybe it’s just the wavelength of the video, but that’s another story) and just tune it all out? It’s probably Very difficult for them to see how raising red roosters and growing garlic is a viable, or at least a partial solution, to the troubles of the world or possibly an outlet leading to success. Never-mind, Geo-engineering. Whoa!

“And that’s the way it is”, on this date, January 24th 19, ‘er 2016. “…May God have mercy on your soul. Proceed!”

[Insert Big Audio Dynamite song, here X. “Who the hell is that? One bastard goes in and another comes out….” ]

Anyway, you say, “this list is by no means complete, US-ers have to expand their horizons to the rest of the world.”

Please, post away and add some links.

    33. ome of those website I DON’T want to read/watch, such as:

Infowars: Controlled opposition. So you think bombastic bullshit passes for intelligent reporting?

Veterans Today: Really? When one of their premier writers publicly admits to lying 40% of the time?

Rense: Narcissistic, deluded nutbar. ‘Nuff said.

I could go on (and on…) but the true mark of whether any site for real is what they leave out. For example, if they don’t identify 9/11 a US run terrorist attack and a psyop, they’re phony.

Here’s some sites that are genuine that you left out. Their absence indicts your own website.

I agree with Pete and Moe. They left out JimStoneFreelance http://82.221.129.208 ,the greatest voice of truth on Earth that comes from a former NSA senior official turned whistleblower. They wouldn’t dare add his website even though it is read by millions worldwide. The man is brilliant, fearless, highly educated and, omg, ethical.

There is also a new umbrella site called http://www.truther.space that publishes links to a growing number of alternative sites. I found many new sites there and I hope that any sites mentioned here that are not on truther.space will sign up with them, a valuable and expanding resource.

We believe Christians need and deserve their own global news network to keep the worldwide Church informed, and to offer Christians a positive alternative to the anti-Christian bigotry of the mainstream news media.
