Global Warming Guru Says World Was Warmer in Medieval Times Than Now

Die hard global warming proponents may need to find a new way to tax and control the masses.  Climategate U-turn as scientist at centre of row admits: There has been no global warming since 1995

The academic at the centre of the ‘Climategate’ affair, whose raw data is crucial to the theory of climate change, has admitted that he has trouble ‘keeping track’ of the information.

Colleagues say that the reason Professor Phil Jones has refused Freedom of Information requests is that he may have actually lost the relevant papers.

Professor Jones told the BBC yesterday there was truth in the observations of colleagues that he lacked organisational skills, that his office was swamped with piles of paper and that his record keeping is ‘not as good as it should be’.

The data is crucial to the famous ‘hockey stick graph’ used by climate change advocates to support the theory.

Professor Jones also conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than now – suggesting global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon.

And he said that for the past 15 years there has been no ‘statistically significant’ warming.

This is proof positive that even a little bit of transparency can have a significant effect on global affairs. If you think those hacked climate change emails made a real difference in helping to curb the cap and trade bill, imagine what a little transparency at The Federal Reserve might do.

Of course, we must inquire into whether the truth and the people still have a voice. According to a New York Times story published this weekend, the President is now seeking alternative possibilities for pushing forward an environmental agenda via executive orders, regardless of whether the science behind global warming is legitimate or not.

…the White House is getting ready to act on its own in the face of partisan gridlock heading into the midterm campaign.

“We are reviewing a list of presidential executive orders and directives to get the job done across a front of issues,” said Rahm Emanuel, the White House chief of staff.

The fact that the President is having to resort to executive orders in an attempt to forward an environmental agenda puts into question not only the science behind the movement, but the underlying motivation for mandating the new regulations. Is this really about global warming? If it were, wouldn’t Al Gore have already invested some of his $100 million fortune on outfitting his home with total off-the-grid alternative energy production instead of spending 10 times the average American on his fossil-fuel sourced monthly electric bill?

If everything was on the up and up, Congress would be able to review the real data – if it even exists, share it with constituents, decide what’s best for America based on this information, and vote accordingly.

But hey, who needs a system of checks and balances anyway?

    1. What a joke… part of me hopes that they do push thru some executive orders just so the American people become really outraged.  We need some outrage.

    2. Rick Blaine says:

B-b-b-b-b-but we weren’t burning fossil fuels in the Middle Ages!?!?!

How could it have been warmer back then if we weren’t burning fossil fuels?!?!!?
      (sarcasm off)
Once again, I invite everyone to look at this graph, and others like it:
      http://www.cornwallalliance.org/images/09_-_08_-_21_(02).jpg

I’ll also reiterate my belief that, in my opinion, graphs like this do not disprove anyything…they simply suggest that maybe we shouldn’t ruin our economy (any more than it is now) by trying to go “green” right now via some cap and trade bill or something.

This is especially true if no one in our federal government is willing to take the time to read the $&!%ing thing.

Any day now, I’m expecting to see somewhat of a shift from the “global warming” argument to the “let’s clean up the earth” argument as a way to pass cap and trade or whatever.  I, personally, think that is a better argument…

    3. It’s not that I don’t believe in ‘green’ energy. Sustainable living is one of the premises of this web site. My problem is with mandates, because they are usually enforced by the barrel of a gun.

Let the free market, the real one, determine the direction forward.

If the powers that be really wanted to go green, then instead of mandates, we would be seeing tax exemptions. Not just for corporations, but for individuals who decide to upgrade their homes.

It seems to me that when someone says they want to go ‘off-grid’ they are vilified for being a nutty survivalist or kook prepper. But that is exactly what sustainable living and living on less is supposed to be about. So if they’re serious, they should consider a different approach – one that starts from the individual and moves up, not the other way around.

    4. paul morris says:

Comments…..Poor Mr. Jones, clinging for straw.  Actually, any climatologist would know that the period of history known as
the “medieval era” was a mini ice age.

    5. robert61 says:

I have a house and land  in rural Kentucky, close to Tennessee state line  by 10 miles, and I am given a “farmers almanac” at the beginning of every year, so far the predictions from that book have been spot on. expecting the cold to last up till first day of spring in March, followed by not as much rain. till august. Which is bad for crops and  farmers. Note to self: learn rainwater harvesting for my garden.
I saw an article on food crisis 2010, due to 2009  weather creating chaos on crops like corn/soybean etc. but it’s not just USA, it’s worldwide. Start learning to grow your own. whatever it is.

On a side note, aren’t the planets  experiencing surface temp increases?
