Facebook Vows Even MORE Censorship Ahead Of Midterm Elections

Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of social media giant Facebook has promised to enact even more censorship ahead of the upcoming midterm elections. Under the rouse of cracking down on “hate speech,” Facebook will take censorship to a whole new level.

Using “misinformation” and “hate speech” as a reason to block others from saying things the political elitists and social media giants dislike, Facebook will take a front role in censorship. The Hollywood Reporter stated in a recent article that Facebook will make its biggest increase in money spent to combat “hate speech” and “misinformation” on its platform this year, according to CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Zuckerberg stated that despite Facebook’s increased expenditure, the company still won’t be as “dialed in as well as everyone would like us to be,” in relation to security and influence campaigns on the platform.

But Facebook itself is one of the biggest election influencers out there, making sure they ban speech that goes against their leftist bias. According to a report by Breitbart, Zuckerberg stated that the upcoming midterm elections will be “a real test” of the newly implemented safeguards designed to protect the platform from “bad actors,” following reports of numerous foreign influence campaigns on the social media website. Zuckerberg said that during the upcoming election, the platform will see “all the good and bad that humanity can do,” but that the social media platform is getting better at hiding the “bad stuff” from users. In other words, Facebook is getting really good a censoring the things they don’t want anyone to focus on.

Even some of the more left-leaning publications have warned about Facebook’s censorship campaign.  Sure, they call it everything but, but there is no denying that what the company is doing, is censoring speech in hopes of changing the outcome of an election – the very thing they accuse those whose voices they silence of doing.

Facebook’s crackdown on free speech has been happening for a long time. All social media outlets have taken to banning those who say things that not only go against a liberal ideology but things that are inherently anti-government.  Criticizing the government could get you a ban too.

  1. If you can’t criticize government, that government needs to be criticized.

Facebook is for losers. Still got my ‘Gz One’ Verizon flip phone going ten years strong.

  3. John wv says:

“There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else.” — Sam Walton

Don’t put up with this crap!
    Close out your Facebook account.
    Put the screws to them.

  4. Houston/Cypress/Katy/Shtf says:

Dig this and this is the latest. I knew it was coming, at least Texans are ready. And man is ammo cleaning off the shelves again.

HCKS; We all have to take our safety in our own hands, cops can’t be everywhere or the military. I learned the last time when ammo was hard to get. Been stacking since then…bring them illegals on…

  5. Menzoberranzan says:

Mac, I appreciate this site. Just saying thanks for being allowed to post virtually unhindered.

  6. Beaumont says:

Obstinate people, on these platforms, just keep posting, posting, posting, anyway. So, I find the banned information in multiples.

  7. aljamo says:

If you take free speech away from the internet what’s the sense in even reading the internet? Can’t find free speech in newsprint and talking head media, don’t even bother trying. Shh, don’t ask, don’t tell. National security for the secure. Everybody else is ignored laughable rabble shmucks to build your fortune on.

  8. The internet is entertainment for the bosses. Everything you have ever done electronically has been logged. Every cell call, every website, every land line call, even your snail mail is photographed front and back. They know everything you do.

They will use it to accuse you of being a subversive and cage you up. Not doing anything wrong, you say?

Think not? Explore the Sedition Act and the way it has been used in the past. Every thing that is said against government is fair game for this Act. Even talking against a war or even against the draft or just talking any violence against a political figure has gotten many thrown in jail. They will use it to jail any dissenters.

Who developed the internet? Al Gore? No, DARPA did and it was ALWAYS meant to be a vehicle for surveillance.
They will let you say whatever you want until they decide it is no longer in their interest. Then the old laws will be dusted off or new ones passed to cage you up.

This is why no one should advocate violence like is seen here all the time. Unless you are a provocateur, then I understand…you have a paycheck to earn.

  9. Jim in Va. says:

No participation on Social sites….no problem…solves it for me.
