Editor’s Note: The following informative article contributed by Disaster Doctor Joe Alton, M.D. (aka Dr. Bones) of the Doom and Bloom Survival Medicine web site highlights an ever growing threat posed to global stability and modern human civilization as a whole. Biologicial warfare has been used throughout history as a means of destroying ones enemies, often with massive and merciless results. Yet, even in our seemingly peaceful world governments around the globe continue to weaponize viral and biological agents with one primary goal in mind: to kill as many people as possible. Given the possibility that such a weapon may one day be unleashed on an unsuspecting public, Dr. Bones takes a realistic view of bio weapons and how such a crisis may come to pass.

If you haven’t yet done so, we strongly encourage readers to review The Survival Medicine Handbook, written By Dr. Alton and his wife, Nurse Amy Alton. The information will be invaluable in a situation where modern medicines are no longer available.

Ebola as Biological Weapon?
By Dr. Joe Alton, M.D., aka Dr. Bones

viruslarge2

With Ebola in the news, there are some that have pointed out the possibility that some nations may attempt to weaponize the virus. This is a concern that deserves discussion, so let’s talk about something that few consider a likely cause of a collapse scenario: biological warfare.

Biological warfare is the use of infectious agents such as bacteria, viruses, fungi or their by-products to wreak death and havoc among a specific population. The user’s goal is to achieve control over an area or a segment of the population by weakening the ability to resist. Biological weapons don’t necessarily have to directly kill: unleashing a horde of locusts to destroy crops or agents that kill an area’s livestock can be just as effective.

HISTORY OF BIOLOGICAL WARFARE

biohazard

This type of weapon has been used since ancient times, and even appears in the bible as some of the plagues visited upon Pharaoh by a wrathful God. Medieval accounts of diseased corpses catapulted into besieged cities abound; this method was used as late at 1710, when the Russians attacked the Swedish city of Reval (present day Tallinn) in this manner.

The Western hemisphere was changed forever by the inadvertent introduction of smallpox into the Native American population, killing 90% in some areas and opening vast swaths of land for European colonization. In addition, purposeful biological warfare occurred against Native Americans when the British presented a large “gift” of infected blankets as a “peace” offering during Pontiac’s War in the mid-1700s.

As time progressed, new methods and infectious agents such as Anthrax were used in certain situations during World War I. As a result, use of biological weapons was banned by the Geneva Protocol in 1925, but research and production was still carried out by both sides during World War II. Research into the use of Anthrax by the United Kingdom left their laboratory area in Scotland contaminated for the next five decades. Eventually, the storage, production, and transport of such agents was banned in 1972 by the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC). Despite this, there are a number of violations that have been documented in the former Soviet Union and Iraq, and various others suspected. Presently, 170 countries have signed the BWC pact.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PERFECT BIO-WEAPON

The perfect biological weapon would have these characteristics:

  • Be infectious and contagious in a large percentage of those exposed
  • Cause severe long-term debilitation or death of the infected organism
  • Have few available antidotes, preventives or cures
  • Be easily deliverable to the area or population targeted
  • Have low likelihood of causing damage to those using the agent

THE USUAL SUSPECTS

Some candidates for use as biological warfare agents include Anthrax, Smallpox, Viral hemorrhagic Fevers (Ebola, etc.), and Pneumonic Plague.

ANTHRAX

Anthrax is a bacterium that can be contracted in several ways: Skin contact, inhalation, and through the gut. More common in livestock than people, Anthrax may be transmitted through the air, but isn’t perfect as a weapon. A “cloud” of Anthrax would be necessary to affect a large population. Large numbers of infected livestock, however, could result in an epidemic of the disease in humans.

Having said this, Anthrax has been the biological weapon of choice. Why? It is exceptionally hardy and can survive for centuries in the ground despites weather extremes.

Although Penicillin, Doxycycline, and Ciprofloxacin (Fish-Pen, Bird-Biotic, and Fish-Flox) are effective against this bacteria if treated early, full-blown inhalation Anthrax is deadly.

PNEUMONIC PLAGUE

plaguemask

“Pneumonic” is one of three types of plague and, by far, the most contagious, easily spread by coughing bacteria into the air. It is caused by a bacterium known as Yersinia Pestis, usually found in rodents and other small animals and their fleas.

Unlike inhalation Anthrax, which may take weeks to develop symptoms, patients with Pneumonic plague may be dead in 2-4 days if not treated early. Tetracycline (Fish-Cycline), Doxycycline (Bird-Biotic) and Ciprofloxacin (Fish-Flox), and IV Gentamycin are common treatments.

SMALLPOX

Smallpox is another viral illness that is highly contagious and was responsible for the decimation of the Native American population in the Americas . Once infected, there is no cure. Although rare in developed countries now, FEMA is still thought to stockpile Smallpox vaccines in enough quantity to vaccinate every U.S. citizen.

EBOLA AS BIOLOGICAL WEAPON

(For general info on Ebola, see my article: http://www.doomandbloom.net/ebola-the-next-great-pandemic/?  )

Ebola_virus_virion

The candidate in the news today is Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever. The current strain of the virus in West Africa has a 55-60% death rate and is out of control in the epidemic areas. You would think that Ebola would, therefore, be an excellent choice as a biological weapon.

It isn’t. Ebola virus is very sensitive to its environment and just doesn’t last long outside a host. It doesn’t tolerate sunlight and needs high temperature and humidity to survive. Most cities in developed countries don’t have the climate conducive to Ebola’s survival.

It’s, also, not easy to work with. Even if a terrorist kidnapped an Ebola victim, working with the virus in anything less than an advanced microbiology lab (called a “Biosafety Level 4”) would likely result in the terrorist dying from the disease. As well, Ebola virus is too sensitive to survive the complex process of refining, enriching, etc. that is necessary for weaponization.

So don’t panic the next time you read about “Ebola Gas” or “Ebola Bombs”. Be aware of the virus, have supplies available that will help in a crisis, and use your most important survival tool: Your mind. Do you own research, get the facts, and come to your own conclusions.

The One Question About Ebola That Nobody Can Seem To Answer

“How in the world is it possible that more than 170 health workers have been infected by the Ebola virus? That is the one question about Ebola that nobody can seem to answer.

The World Health Organization is reporting this as a fact, but no explanation is given as to why this is happening.

We are just assured that Ebola “is not airborne” and that getting infected “requires close contact with the bodily fluids of an infected person”.

If this is true, then how have more than 170 health workers caught the disease? These workers are dressed head to toe in suits that are specifically designed to prevent the spread of the virus.

So how is this happening? I could understand a handful of “mistakes” by health workers, but this is unlike anything that we have ever seen in the history of infectious diseases. These health workers take extraordinary precautions to keep from getting the virus.

If it is spreading so easily to them, what chance is the general population going to have?

Overall, more than 1,700 people have been officially infected and more than 900 people have officially died so far. But an official from Samaritan’s Purse says that the real numbers are probably far, far higher…”

“In a six-hour meeting with the president of Liberia last week, Isaacs said workers from Samaritan’s Purse and SIM watched as the “somber” officials explained the gravity of the situation in their countries, where hundreds lie dead in the streets.”

“The recent surge in the number of cases has stretched all capacities to the breaking point. Supplies of personal protective equipment and disinfectants are inadequate. The outbreak continues to outstrip diagnostic capacity, delaying the confirmation or exclusion of cases and impeding contact tracing.

Some treatment facilities are overflowing; all beds are occupied and patients are being turned away.”

        Update…8/13/14

Ebola cases climb in Liberia and Sierra Leone

“The World Health Organization (WHO) announced today that it has received reports of an an additional 128 Ebola illnesses and 56 Ebola-related deaths in the West African outbreak for the two day period of Aug. 10-11.

The total of confirmed, probable and suspected Ebola cases has reached 1,975 along with 1,069 deaths. Four countries are reporting the bacterial illness, Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria.”

“Sierra Leone has reported the greatest number of Ebola cases through Aug. 11. The WHO has 783 illnesses and 334 deaths recorded, with 53 cases and 19 deaths in the two day period Aug. 10-11.”

“The Ebola outbreak in Liberia seems to be worsening. WHO has received reports of 71 new Ebola cases and 32 new deaths in the two days. Liberia has the second highest case count for the outbreak, with 670 cases and 355 Ebola-related deaths.”

“Guinea, where Ebola first emerged in West Africa, reported four news cases, all fatalities, for the two days to the WHO. It has the greatest number of Ebola deaths with 377 and 510 confirmed, probable and suspected Ebola cases.”

Thanks. You always write good stuff. However, as a percentage of the population, this in infinitesimal (I believe the pop. of Nigeria is around 170mm or so, if I remember correctly), with the region probably closing in on a quarter billion. Granting that every single human life is of value, one would think by this time the victims would number in the hundreds of thousands, or millions even. Particularly given the lower levels of sanitation, infection control, medical resources, knowledge of how disease spreads (one gold mining exec recently reported when he was there, people generally at with their hands out of a common bowl), handling of the deceased, hiding of family members from neighbors and government, etc. This doesn’t mean we should let down our guard, but does argue against this being quite as bad as feared. Yes, I know the numbers will keep increasing, but we are nowhere near the hundreds of thousands that would signal – it seems to me – a major alarm. Note that I am NOT saying there should no alarm, or that this shouldn’t be taken seriously. Also note that there are hundreds of thousands that die each year of infectious flu, which is also not a good way to go, yet no one is up on arms over that. Finally, if the death rate is just over 50% – in an area with very poor medical services – this also bodes somewhat well for more developed nations. Again, I am NOT saying this is irrelevant, belittling even a single life lost, etc. Just trying to makes some observations and ask some questions

          • Anonymous says:

It’s called the Flu shot, all healthcare people are required to have one or many different vaccines, and all these vaccines are pre-Ebola or pre- infectious diseases that weaken the immune system and make these people more likely to fall ill. Just like the Spanish influenza of 1918, the only people that got sick or died were the ones with the flu shots. Wake up people , it’s part of their plan.

            • Anon7 says:

Anonymous: ARE YOU KIDDING, there was no immunization for the flu until 1945 you halfwit! I don’t know if the meds you’re taking have made you this stupid and paranoid or if you were just born this way. But I’m sure in your insipid delusional fever you’ll come up with some super-secret ‘leaked’ document that shows of some grand conspiracy by some shadowy group. I can’t wait to hear about your ‘evidence’.

Ebola Control Goes ‘Medieval’: From Patient Zero To Pandemic In 7 Months

          http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-08-13/ebola-control-goes-medieval-patient-zero-pandemic-7-months

        • Be informed says:

One of the worst biological weapons delivered would be rabies. Big problem with that is that rabies is just like Ebola, it doesn’t survive very long outside the host. Also as soon as rabies had been launched out as an attack everyone would be vaccinated against it after this. An one time shot, that is IF rabies could be made to last in the air. Still it shows just how certain biological weapon are just not good weapons. Again, I would worry about Marburg as a terrible bio weapon because it has already been shown to be a bio weapon in the air from what the Soviets did with it.

Thank you Joseph Alton for verifying what I have been saying to people for weeks now about the frail nature of Ebola outside the bodily fluids of the host infected body.

          • Be informed says:

Something else I would like to discuss about Ebola. The areas in which it is so rampant is utterly filthy. You have open markets with flies swarming dead meat everywhere. People in these communities are not just living third world levels, it is fourth world levels or just above caveman. People touch each other and out of respect dead bodies to say good bye. People in these countries have little or no idea what is sanitation. More people die in West Africa from bacteria related diseases because of terrible dirty conditions than Ebola has even begun to approach.

Ebola thrives in places like most viruses, under conditions that allow the easy spreading of it. This is why I have always feared of a super virus that is flu like coming out of the slums of India. I would be very worried IF Ebola had started to spread to sub tropical areas or Mediterrean climates. Ebola infecting these care givers is often because the climate is so hot and humid, along with the stress of seeing these people suffer, leads to carelessness to become exposed. Until Ebola exhibits OTHER signs of becoming more durable outside Ebola’s environment, it is a paper tiger to most people. Not to say that some nut is not trying to make Ebola air borne. Still the Soviets could not and really gave up on trying and settled for filovirus Marburg that kills 50-75% of those infected.

            • Runningman says:

Ebola a paper tiger? Really? The filthy conditions that you speak of exist in every major city in the U.S. Most of these people coming across the border are used to the conditions that allow Ebola to spread like wild fire. Many cities are no different than a third world country. 10 plus people to one house, filthy and unsanitary conditions, etc. And just who do you think will stay around to pick up the ebola dead?

              • Winston Smith says:

Yes, they do, but it is a far more isolated occurrence. Plus, unlike those places, there are no open sewers in US cities. Even the crappiest places usually have running water, A/C and heat. Plus, while the poor may not get the best care all the time, the healthcare they do get is far above what the poor in these developing world slums receive. Slums in places like Mumbai and Sao Palo are like quasi permanent tent cities populated by millions of people. You don’t see that here.

            • Sierra Dave says:

So what you’re saying is this. These African counties are creating a great environment for Ebola to mutate.

I’ve been saying for years now. That the Asians are 100’s of millions of Petri dishes with their farms. With pigs, ducks, chickens, and Humans all intermingling their waste and germs and virii.

It’s a numbers game. As human populations grow. We increase the chance of something deadly spawning.

            • Rumjungle says:

              I agree BI.

Lately I’ve been too busy to be worried about Ebola.

I’ve got seedlings to transplant, compost to turn, fences to fix because bloody kangaroos keep bashing through ’em, water to cart, chicken pens to clean out, calves to feed, fruit trees to spray, seeds to save, chainsaw to resharpen, vehicles to service and eggs to incubate.

After that I need to finish the solar power project I started 3 years ago.

          • Ed Lead says:

FAIL because Ebola DOESN’T need to survive long outside its host if enough hosts are infected and transmitting the virus to others, including different species.

        • fishandmud says:

      • TurtleMama says:

The healthcare workers in the field in West Africa right now are working with a highly contagious virus in conditions we have a hard time imagining. That is why there is a rash of caregiver infections. Yes, they have suits and tape their cuffs…but in 100% humidity what happens to tape? It comes off. They work up to 20 hour days. Mistakes are made when exhausted. In controlled conditions such as we are blessed to have in the US, we wouldn’t be seeing this many healthcare worker cases.

      • KY ,, did you see my response to your question on this subject?
you asked this on the previous thread..I could be partially off base or even completely wrong..but,,, i could also be right

if you would , take the time to go back and see what you think.

        • KY Mom says:

          VRF,

Re: Misdirection and “make the problem up.. then come in to save the day ..sound familiar?..it should, thats exactly how our government works and operates.”

You make a very good point. With the mindset (and goals) of the administration, anything is possible.

I have also noticed the NUMBER of articles in the media about the influx of illegals at our southern border has decreased. The problem continues, but media focus has moved on to other topics.

          Stay alert. Be safe.
          KY Mom

      • Winston Smith says:

The problem is that not all of the healthcare workers have the proper clothing. We all see the news reports where they are heavily suited up, but most medicine in Africa is not done that way. Not every Ebola patient starts out getting treated in a special hospital. Many start seeking help at local facilities that are in no way prepared to deal with an Ebola patient. They don’t even have running water and soap, let alone protective clothing. By the time they refer the patient to the Ebola hospital it is already too late. Thus, it spreads to these workers. I imagine that this represents the bulk of cases for healthcare workers. Now, there are still cases of people with proper protection getting it, but statistically this is still probable. Yes, Ebola is mildly airborne (admitted by the CDC’s latest revision) and so anyone without a fresh air supplied space suit working in close proximity to a patient is at risk. Respirators reduce the risk by catching most of what is in the air, but inevitably some gets through. They are not working in lab conditions, but in field hospitals set up in tents. Thus some infection is to be expected. I don’t think the infection rate would be anywhere near as high in the US since we have proper equipment available.

        • Navt Vet says:

Another problem accounting for the growing spread is that the hospitals are seeing so many cases and so many health workers are contracting the disease there are fewer and fewer trained health workers to treat the sick. Since the number of infected is increasing and there are fewer workers left to treat new cases, a good portion of the new cases are being turned away from hospitals. The infected, left to their own devices, are going back their streets, towns and villages further compounding the spread.

As I posted on a previous thread, health care workers (I’ve read several comments from purported health care workers on several different sites in the last couple of days) here in the US are petrified of this thing. They were almost unanimous on two things. 1. If Ebola comes to the US they don’t believe that our health care system will be able to cope. 2. A good percentage of health care workers here will quit rather than face the high risk of infection with a better than even chance that they won’t survive..

          • Winston Smith says:

All that is true, but it doesn’t explain why the Ebola cat got so far out of the bag to begin with. Had it been in a more stable and developed place in the world then it never would have gone this far. Thus, the system would not have gotten this overwhelmed. I do expect to see it in the US, but expect the number of cases to be fairly limited. Yes, some US healthcare workers will get it, but it will be easily contained and done quickly. I am by no means saying that it couldn’t get out of hand, just that I do not see it as the most likely scenario.

Of course, I do believe that you should prep like it will get out of hand and have plans in place in case it does. The whole purpose behind prepping is to be ready for the unexpected and to be relieved when it does not come to pass.

            • Navy Vet says:

I’ve seen some anecdotal stories that this a new mutated strain of the disease that has traded off some lethality for communicability and a different spread vector. This hasn’t been confirmed by anyone that has “Infectious Disease Specialist” after their name and even if it was proven in the lab, wouldn’t be made public to avoid panic.

The fact that two doctors are dead, another has contracted the disease and lots of lower level health workers are infected and dieing or dead, all of whom one would think are well versed in disease control and have used those methods in the past to control it, says to me that this is a different virus. Add in the fact that in early stages of the disease, symptoms mimic common flu, it’s a time bomb waiting to explode.

              • Navy Vet says:

Here’s a story that gives some decent detail on the factor contributing to the spread. Much better than my speculation above.

If they are different then the testing they are doing is ineffective and will be negative. Seems to me this is a different and new strain.

              • Nopittypartyhere says:

@a4. I remember an article in April that DID say this was a slightly mutated strain and initially they were clearing people who possibly had it. Maybe can find it on google?

              • Winston Smith says:

It also depends on how well trained the doctors were who were involved in the early stages of this epidemic. Somehow I don’t think that the requirements are as stringent in an area that had until recently been a war zone. Plus, people there don’t have the kind of money it takes to go to a western med school, so it is likely that their training may not have been as thorough. Also, this area had not previously seen Ebola, so they may not have been looking for it in the early days. Patient zero was last fall (a 2 yr old boy-very odd) and I don’t believe the WHO got involved until a few months later.

As far as it goes, I am deeply concerned with this outbreak coming here. I work in the hospitality industry and interact with a lot of people every day of varying socio-economic backgrounds. Between me and the other people that I work with, we probably are exposed to 5,000 people a week. Thus I have an outsized chance of catching it should it cross our border. To prep for it, I keep things like hand sanitizer and a 3M 1870 respirator with me now, just in case. I also plan to immediately quit my job the moment it is detected in my state.

West Africa is 100 degrees in the shade right now, and I suspect that some corners were cut with infection control, with dire consequences to health workers. Also, infection precaution controls there are nowhere near the level that they are in the US.

        Ti: KY Mom

Your post does bring up some extremely interesting questions….but…could this Virus be natural or could it be..crazy as it sounds derived from somewhere else ?

        1) What are/were these Health workers exposed to “After” they leave the environment of those who are infected with “Ebola “….

        2) Could they be exposed via food…air vents…water…they keep taking about people on Airplanes … etc…and/or do you think that any of this could be “Intentional ? ” .

        3) Have any of us gone back and truly understood the meaning and use of ” Hegelian Dialectic ? “…It works in many varying ways.

        4) Now there will some of us Wacko Tin Foil Hat Wearing folks that may have just had a fleeting thought that the Goobermint could have something to do with this…….. ” Hegelian Dialectic “….it is an interesting method of control used by many Goobermints for a long time to control the masses….

        5) A) Situation, Scenario, Catastrophic Event
        B) Reaction
        C) Solution

You hit the nail on the head. You’ve also exposed a huge half truth they’re telling us with your quote,

“If this is true, then how have more than 170 health workers caught the disease? These workers are dressed head to toe in suits that are specifically designed to prevent the spread of the virus.”

The official word is that ebola is only transmitted via contact with bodily fluids and airborne propagation is not possible. I say BS.

When one breathes, one secretes fluid when they exhale. If anyone in the CDC or the sheeple class doesn’t believe this, then I challenge you to breathe on a pane of glass for 15 seconds or so. Where does one think the water vapor (bodily fluid) that causes the condensation comes from?

Those workers may be covered head to toe, but they are still breathing in their surroundings….especially if there is any humidity in the air. It is the only possible way they could have contracted that virus.

This virus has a lifecycle outside a host….probably relative to the temperature of the carrying fluid. Africa is hot. That virus does not die immediately after it has left the host body.

        They’re lying, They’re lying, They’re lying.

      • Sierra Sam says:

What is missing almost all media reports are the rest of the facts needed to determined if a given number of cases is a really big issue as far as contagiousness of the illness. They give a number of health workers affected yet do not give the total number of health workers that set of workers belongs to. Are they referring to all the health workers in the area actually treating possible or actual cases of ebola? If so then if there are 150 workers infected, if there are only 300 health workers in the area, that is a serious problem. If there are 5000 workers in the set that they are drawing from, then while a very important issue, it is not as grave as if there are only 300 total health workers. Other data we must have before we jump to any conclusions are the apples and oranges. Are these health care workers working in equivalent facilities as those in the modern world? What is their training? What sort of equipment?

Thanks for the level-headed information. An issue that most may not consider in chemical or biological warfare is that the population is not required to have a high death rate to be effective. If an enemy wishes merely to gain control of a government, for example, all that would be needed is a highly contagious illness that disables adults through fever and malaise for an extended period but has high morbidity if not cared for with basic medical intervention. Such an illness would make an overthrow, for example, much easier. Medical and emergency response teams would be inadequate and there is a good chance that military medical support would be directed at the civilian population.

Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork, and adjacent to that an open-pit barbecue pork restaurant, called “Iraq of Ribs.”

Across the street there could be a lingerie store called “Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret” with sexy mannequins in the window modelling the goods.

Next door to the lingerie shop there would be room for an adult sex toy shop, “Koranal Knowledge,” its name in flashing neon lights, and on the other side a liquor store called ” Morehammered .”

Would it be possible the Africa and the Africans were used as Guinea pigs to test the effects of the Ebola for many years before it be used on rest of us? Just my two cents……Look at it this way…. ISIS was formed to fight a dictatorship in Syria who actually wasn’t beheading women and children. Now the same subhumans are the enemy of their creators. As long as we are unable to see the real enemy Vs the perceived ones the savagery will continue and only gets deeper.

    • Hi Justice,

It would be more effective to do that than trying to build an “ebola bomb”. The problem is that, once you have ebola, you’re so exhausted you can barely move, at least from reports I’ve received. I would suppose that someone could wheel someone along in a wheelchair in a large crowd, but secretions would have to somehow get on others. Having them cough frequently in people’s directions might do it, but would probably infect the people escorting them on their “tour”…

Yay!! Finally, an article about Ebola -published by a SURVIVAL oriented doctor – which hopefully the prepping community will pay attention to! Ebola sucks. It’s a horrible, terribly overly-efficient virus that produces horrifying symptoms and a painful death. That’s it’s main problem, though…it’s Morbidity and mortality rates are too high for it’s own good. Yes, there is an outbreak right now in West Africa, but the likelihood that we’ll ever see an Ebola pandemic on par with historical pandemics of flu or smallpox are almost nil. We do well to prepare, to be aware of Ebola and be careful, but save the panic for when H5N1 starts spreading person to person to person. We should be a lot more worried about the pandemic potential of that virus.

@ KY Mom, Strange,is’nt it? Doctors are supposed to be the most well protected people since they are treating it. Makes me wonder if there are other ways they are being infected. Sounds crazy,I know, but anybody have a better thought??

    • John W. says:

I would bet that there were lapses in protection and sloppy work habits due to fatigue and the fact that it is the third world with all its’ poverty and lack of resources. If this was really easily spread then by now there would be tens of thousands of cases maybe even hundreds of thousand. It has instead stayed close to the number of three weeks ago. Most likely this will wind itself down like it always does. Let’s hope that is the case and no one is going to try and get a bunch of infected people released in major cities.

    • Hi Southside,

Your point is very valid. There is, indeed, a very specific protocol for the removal and disposal of used coveralls, masks, gloves, etc., and failure to follow it to the letter increases your risk for the infection.

    Question and observation

    – Somewhere around a thousand (let’s be liberal and say a couple thousand) have contracted this disease. Understanding that every single human life is of value of course, there is a reservoir of several hundred million just in west central Africa alone. While the numbers will be climbing, one would think by this time the victims would number in the hundreds of thousands, or millions even. Particularly given the lower levels of sanitation, infection control, medical resources, knowledge of how disease spreads (one gold mining exec recently reported when he was there, people generally at with their hands out of a common bowl), handling of the deceased, hiding of family members from neighbors and government, etc. This doesn’t mean we should let down our guard, but does argue against this being quite so bad.

On a side note, we have raccoon problems here, as do many of you. OK, so they are a “cute” nuisance I thought, but finally had so many, I had to call a trapper. He told me to google “raccoon roundworm,” which is apparently on the list of agents the bad guys could use. Google it yourself – pretty creepy. He told of one local guy who lost his eyesight due to cleaning up their excrement (the roundwork infests the feces in most, but not all, raccoons). He told me to throw bleach around (I didn’t find it did much), but I also put some CFL spotlights out in the “latrine” areas, and has worked beautifully. Wish I could shoot the suckers, but not in my area.

Interesting….I also read that Racoons ALWAYS have another ” Bug Out ” location…they will retreat to their other location and then go establish another different location…they will always have 2 locations…

The urban offense often aims to destroy, defeat, or neutralize a threat force. However, the purpose may be to achieve some effect relating to the population or infrastructure of the urban area. • Former Marine Paul Szoldra warns that events in Ferguson, Missouri illustrate the “terrifying” result of the militarization of police, with the American people now being treated like insurgents in Afghanistan and Iraq.

In an article for Business Insider, Szoldra questions why police in Ferguson are wearing combat gear such as desert camouflage which is normally reserved for troops fighting in foreign war zones.

“We looked intimidating, but all of our vehicles and equipment had a clear purpose for combat against enemy forces. So why is this same gear being used on our city streets?” asks Szoldra, adding, “When did this become OK?”

The former Marine notes how police in Ferguson are armed with military-style rifles with scopes as well as body armor.

“Their uniform would be mistaken for a soldier’s if it weren’t for their “Police” patches,” writes Szoldra. “They wear green tops, and pants fashioned after the U.S. Marine Corps MARPAT camouflage pattern. And they stand in front of a massive armored truck called a Bearcat, similar in look to a mine-resistant ambush protected vehicle, or as the troops who rode in them call it, the MRAP.”

Szoldra cites conversations he had with other former military personnel who pointed out that some of the police in Ferguson are more heavily armed than U.S. troops in an “actual warzone.”

“When did “protect and serve” turn into “us versus them”? asks Szoldra, asserting that the sight of police in militarized combat gear is not helping the situation.

“In Afghanistan, we patrolled in big, armored trucks. We wore uniforms that conveyed the message, “We are a military force and we are in control right now.” Many Afghans saw us as occupiers. And now we see some of our police officers in this same way,” writes Szoldra, concluding, “If there’s one thing I learned in Afghanistan, it’s this: You can’t win someone’s heart and mind when you are pointing a rifle at their chest.”

While the initial looting in Ferguson was deplorable, it’s clear the town is now the victim of a huge militarized police state exercise.

The unrest was first sparked by the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown on Saturday night, who was unarmed when police gunned him down. Law enforcement authorities claim Brown was involved in a physical altercation with an officer although eyewitnesses said he was shot for no reason.

Peaceful demonstrations continued last night, with around 250 protesters marching down the main road into Ferguson where they were met with a heavy militarized police presence.

“Officers in military-style uniforms, some carrying high-powered rifles and wearing balaclavas, formed a line at least two men deep and blocking the entire width of Florrisant Street,” reports the Guardian.

One man had a red police gun laser pointed at his chest while another drove a car at high speed stopping just short of the police line.

A second man in the city was shot by police last night while another woman was struck in the head with a rubber bullet as police again used tear gas to disperse a small crowd.

“We have a right to assemble, a right to freedom,” said Paul Muhammad. “But here we are facing what looks like a military imposing martial law. It is not acceptable.”

Infowars reporters Joe Biggs and Jakari Jackson are on the ground in Ferguson, St. Louis. Last night they witnessed police pointing sniper rifles at protesters while cops also threatened to arrest demonstrators.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF THIS WAS YOUR HOME?

Stupid Israeli zio-jew wanted to BREAK INTO A PALESTINIANS HOME and take down his Palestinian flag

Turn on the English captions. This Israeli tried to break into the home of a Palestinian to tear down the flag and gets caught in the razor wire! Note that at 2:10 the Israeli LIES justifies his illegal entry by saying that the house is really his, echoing the sentiments of the famous drunk Israeli settler.

For the most part they were. Some maybe not so but trying to do the right thing through protest. Like I said earlier, I hope they kill off each other until there’s nothing left but a pile of ashes that the town street sweeper can handle. Neither side is right and neither side is wrong.

What a bunch of worthless bastards. Then you got the “out of towner” like that “Dixie Peach” pomade using boot-lipped fucker AL Sharkston. Don’t worry Missourians, Ol’ Al will “show you” in the “show me” state how its done. Get ready to cry……..

Talking about weapons, this is an article and charts showing just how much the U.S. and Russia are exporting in arms to other countries, and which countries are buying the most from whom:

    http://finance.yahoo.com/news/map-shows-us-russias-worldwide-140503590.html

I thought it was interesting how much Turkey and Algeria was getting. Just shows that weapons are big money and just how much the world is arming itself while BO and others talk about how the world has become more peaceful in most spots in the world. If this was true then arms sales would be down, not up like they are. I wonder how much is being spent on biological weapons projects along with military hardware being bought?

Wake up! 99% of eveyone seems to be extremely ignorant of what “THEY” can do, have done and are about to do!
Number 1: They made MULTIPLE ADVANCED BIOWEAPONS decades ago, i.e. weaponized super flu, weaponized rabies, etc. ALL are 100% leathal.
Number 2: They have SCALAR WEAPONRY, which allows for the creation of ANY disease or ailment which can then be targeted into specific individuals or ENTIRE NATIONS! Conversley, they can erradicate anything this way as well.
Number 3: SCALAR WEAPONY ALLOWS FOR CONTROL OF WEATHER, MIND AND MATTER!

The EVD outbreak will not be considered to be over until twice the incubation period of 21 days has passed with no new cases. Human skin has small cracks that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Therefore, wearing long sleeves and full face shields will help keep spittle from skin. The Ebola Virus is not as contagious as the flu, but its dire outcome of 60% fatal makes it worthy of your attention. Remember that even small numbers multiplied by large numbers become significant. Disease spread is most likely to be measured by the R-naught, the base rate of reproduction rate between people. However, the R-Naught does not include the fatality rate nor the incubation period. Therefore, be sure to factor these numbers into your Significant Disease Index. There is some chance of exposing yourself when removing a single layer of gloves; therefore, wear two pairs of gloves to reduce your chances of self exposure to a minimum. Sometimes exposures occur when you are removing your PPE. Learn to remove it like removing the peel from a banana.

You can search for the U.S. patent for an ‘invented’ strain of Ebola. Mentioned by birdflu666wordpress .com or naturalnews .com or nomorefakenews .com
Anyway, this is a newer strain, more dangerous.
There are parts of the country which are more humid than ever before since being sprayed daily in the task of geoengineering all life. aircrap .org or geoengineeringwatch .com are good beginnings at learning what poisoning and warfare is being sent down on us with the above method.
The story of Joseph Moshe calling into the Dr. True Ott show was a wild scenario. Moshe, an Israeli biochemist was blowing the whistle on the Ukraine being sprayed with a hemoragic flu, it sickened many but barely made even the alternative news. Moshe was taken down by the FBI and sent away. The video on line is amazing, gas would not effect Moshe. Some say he was trained by the Israeli secret forces. Global research dot ca has the evidence we invaded Kiev/Ukraine and are funding I SiS…and of course Israel. shhhhhhhhhh Never criticize them!

Do you know what they call someone who graduates last in their med school class? Doctor. Bones is a smart guy but he knows as well as everyone else that medicine will go back to the 1800’s if biological agents are used. He profits off the fear. Learn how this stuff can affect you and be prepared to isolate and decon yourselves.

  36. Barn Cat says:

Ebola is a lousy bio weapon. It takes too long to spread and kill people. Less than 2000 people the entire year.

A much better weapon would be a flu bug like the 1918 flu that killed tens of millions around the world before air travel. It could be released at O’Hare. Within 48 hours people would be dying from it all over the world.

  37. franzpick says:

This biggest-ever EVD outbreak is vastly underreported, gruesomely evolving, untreated and uncontained, and awareness is totally suppressed by the corporate news: conspiracy talk is a tragic diversion from the reality of the growing pandemic disaster.

Read the gory details of EVD on the local levels, how out of control it is, and in no way being contained or treated effectively:
