Bad Medicine: Obamacare “Doctors Should Warn Global Warming Could Make Patients’ Health Worse”

If having your doctor quiz you about owning a gun isn’t enough to raise your blood pressure, then this new Obamacare policy surely will.

Obama’s White House is once again politicizing health care, even as the net/noose tightens, now asking medical professionals to advise patients on the effects that global warming/climate change will supposedly have on their health.

    The Daily Caller reported:

Americans trust their doctors, so the White House wants these medical professionals to be a mouthpiece for President Obama’s global warming agenda.

    […]

The Obama administration has been hard at work trying to draw a link between global warming and public health issues. The summit included the U.S. Surgeon General, top administration officials, and public health experts from around the country telling doctors, nurses and other conference goers how to talk about global warming with their patients.

The central message: doctors should warn their patients that global warming could make their health worse.

It’s not clear what the details of that politically correct advice will be, but here’s a prediction – for increased stress from economic fines and penalties for using resources, meeting new codes, as well as symptoms of indigestion from swallowing or being force fed repeated propaganda.

It is not unlikely that poor health profiles – such as being overweight, obese, a smoker, having preexisting condition – could someday add penalties to individuals for failing to comply with climate change remedies or disqualify them from inclusion in the same way that insurance weighs these factors for coverage.

After all, the assumption of AGW is that people are what’s making the planet worse, and people like Al Gore have advocated making laws to “punish” climate change deniers.

Critics are concerned that these politically-loaded doctor’s visit questions could be a means of classifying patients and flagging them in databases for their extremist views. President Obama’s barrage of 23 gun control executive orders, issued in the wake of Sandy Hook, included a “clarification” (read: nudge) that “the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.” Many commenters have noted their experiences with doctors popping the question.

Guns, like political attitudes about climate change and other issues, are legal and constitutionally-guaranteed rights now, but may be increasingly challenged by bureaucracy and eroded by legal interpretations, database threat scores and quasi-private corporate policies.

Whatever you do, don’t suggest that global warming could just be a placebo for greater government control.

      • As of yesterday (Friday), it’s about to get a hell of a lot worse…

I sat down and thought for a bit. This is what I came up with. Mind you, it was written under some emotional influence, but even this afternoon, 24 hours later, I think it still holds up. My apologies if it’s too long, but until I can get the web host to restore access to the little site I maintain, well – just tell me what you think:

        ==
The news coming out of the US Supreme Court over the past couple of days has been more than just a little disheartening, to say the least. Mind you, I say this not for moral reasons (disclosure: I found at least one of the decisions highly immoral), but for long-term reasons.

You see, what we saw wasn’t Obamacare getting a thumbs-up, or gay marriage getting that same thumbs-up. What we saw was a Supreme Court, once the last bastion against political activism, become activists themselves. I’ll explain why:

In the first case, the Court majority was clearly wrong: the law states that states which did not form their own health insurance exchanges would not get federal subsidies… but the court decided to pretend that “state” meant the nation, in spite of clear language stating otherwise. This tells me that the US supreme Court has decided that it was a bigger priority to give the people free stuff from the government than it was to say ‘hey – this law is written wrong for what you want to do – go fix it.’ The problem is that the government has been maxing out its budgetary credit cards for too long now, and only promises to make it worse. This bodes ill for the US economy in the mid-term. Personally, I give it about 3-5 years from now before the US government can no longer mask its bad habits without massive inflation kicking in, and another 3-4 years before the economy collapses completely. I honestly do not think there’s anything we can do about this.

In the second case, they had a slightly more solid footing (by stretching the 14th Amendment), but again, the majority happily gave in to the activists and instead of saying “sorry, but states which ban gay marriage should not have to accept the status if the couple gets married in a state where it’s permitted”, they decide to simply go for it – it helps to know that at least one of the majority had officiated a gay wedding, if that tells you anything. While I honestly don’t care what consenting adults do in the privacy of someone’s bedroom, this drive for official validation of a sexual preference is almost nearly destroying actual and historical societal definitions (and along the way, generating governmental crackdowns on anyone who dares dissent.) Long story short, this is a signpost to fascism. At its current trajectory, I give it about 10-15 years before we live under a totalitarian government, that is if the economy doesn’t implode first.

Cruising through the various online IT/tech forums (a place where nominally the subject is, you know, technology and not politics), there are hordes of people cheering their heads off, taunting those who disagreed, and in general making asses of themselves. Most of them either imply or state out loud that we have somehow entered a new golden age. Meanwhile, I’m sitting here watching societal mores crumble while governmental finance jumps the rails. It’s like I was transported to Rome c. 400 AD.

All I can say is – step up your preparations. Now.

Things have degenerated enough now that I can make a (very!) tentative prognostication as to how it’s all going to go down, and I promise that it will all follow easily-proven logic. But first, some background facts:

        * Society mores will continue their degeneration: marriages of incest and polygamy will become a “human right”, as the 14th Amendment becomes even further abused to the point of incredulity. Next will come the governmental blessing of freebies as a “human right” – healthcare, a minimum standard of living, etc. You can already see these arguments being made in many corners of the political realm, if you know where to look.

        * The overall radial islamist situation in the Mideast, while at one time could have been handled relatively cheaply (especially when we still had troops stationed there in force), has been largely ignored, and is daily growing to become more and more expensive (in blood and treasure) when it comes time to put it down. Soon, that expense will shift towards just hoping to contain it.

        * Due to a complete lack of respect for the US’ current administration (and its inconsistent foreign policies), many 2nd-level nations (e.g. Russia, China) have become emboldened, and are flexing their geopolitical muscles at US expense (all while relying on the same US for their own economic survival).

        * Individual liberties are being denied in ever-more strident fashion, by governments at all levels. Don’t want to host a gay wedding? The state will drive you out of business. Want to collect rainwater on your private land, even in areas where water rights are not enumerated or regulated? Be prepared to be fined into oblivion. Happen to have too much cash on you if you get pulled over on the way home from Vegas or Atlantic City? The nice officer will simply take that from you, but don’t worry – he won’t bother to charge you with any crime as long as you don’t complain about it.

        * In regard to the previous point, extremists (read: “activists”) have already begun shifting from demands for acceptance, to demands for compliance.

        * Someone has to fund all of this: Gay marriage will confer all the financial benefits of traditional ones, which means that entities who price their wares/regulations based on marital status will have to raise prices accordingly: insurance, taxation, etc. Those free healthcare subsidies that no one planned for (about 300% of estimated so far, considering all of the non-exchange states that now get federal healthcare subsidies). Military costs associated with mere air strikes and nation-building are spiraling out of control, and since the money isn’t counted in the budget, it isn’t being accounted for. The new “human rights” that are invented on almost a yearly basis are going to require more and more largess from the government to pay out for those who aren’t wealthy. The public debt has doubled in the last four years, and is now growing logarithmically. Did I mention that this is all based on paper money?

        * Advanced domestic oil extraction techniques are now on hold or in mothballs thanks to an oil glut from OPEC nations, who are determined to almost literally flood their competition right out of the market.

        * …and we have a political establishment built from both major political parties who, quite frankly, don’t really care as long as they get their payola and get re-elected.

Now, against this backdrop of facts, here’s a tentative look at what I think will happen, assuming the left/center political elements win in 2016 (which I strongly suspect they will):

        * First, cracks will appear in the economy, probably sometime around mid-2017 (which is about when I originally predicted that things would start rolling). There are only so many book-cooking tricks you can pull before it becomes apparent that there is too much money in circulation, so inflation will start to swell – slowly at first, but with increasing speed over time. Meanwhile, expect to see increasing persecutions of any outspoken pro-conservative in business and public life, but this time using the law as a cudgel.

        * The markets will react with sharply increased prices, which will in turn feed the inflationary cycle. This in turn will depress the economy – hard. This in turn will cost jobs… lots of them. If you don’t have the skills to command a high-paying job, work for a critical industry with high demand, work for the government, or don’t have at least a year’s worth of living expenses sitting in the bank, you’re liable to feel the effects first. If you do have the cash, you will very likely have to dip into those savings at least once before the end of 2017.

        * Governments (all of them), in reaction to this and to the increased strain on public resources, will be raising taxes *and* interest rates… a lot. This will likely start forming in earnest during mid-2018, but will be muted due to mid-term elections, as incumbents furiously try to kick the can down the road until after election day. The government will have to do this in order to control inflation at the federal level (by taking money out of circulation) and to fund its ongoing bread-and-circuses policies at all levels. This will in turn impact a lot of service-oriented industries, and the stock market will take a tumble as individuals and retirement fund managers alike feverishly try to redirect as much of their money as possible into lower-risk investments. Unless you work for a critical industry by this point, expect to see deep layoffs where you work, if not outright company closings. Oh, and just because the federal government can kick the can down the road economically, doesn’t mean that the activists will slow down any… expect to see churches attacked directly via lawsuit by this point in time. At first the churches will win, but…

        * Interest rates and taxes will skyrocket after the 2018 elections – the prime rate possibly going up to 15-20% by the end of 2018. If you have anything financed on a variable interest rate or revolving account, expect to see your bills shoot up, possibly up to 150%-200% of what you’re used to paying, just to meet the minimum payment (especially on credit cards and Adjustable-Rate Mortgages.) You would think that this will trigger a tsunami of bankruptcies, and it will, but remember: 2008 was not that long ago, and most folks who filed for it in that year will barely be coming to a point where they actually could file again… most folks who filed due to the 2008 crash are just barely coming out of Chapter 13 now. It is hoped that by mid-2018 you have no debts, or at most a fixed-rate mortgage and enough cash in the bank to make that payment for at least 6-12 months. Layoffs will roll in earnest as well, across nearly all sectors, as companies trim back as much as they can. Meanwhile, those attacks on the churches will start seeing churches getting hit hard from governmental edict, though it will still be in ways that will skirt the 1st Amendment (barely)… the smallest denominations will begin to fail at this point.

        * By early 2020, inflation will be ballistic and jobs will be in free-fall, as the brunt of the economy strikes full-force. If you’re lucky enough to still have a job by the end of 2020, it will likely be paying around 75% of what you used to make. religious liberty will be under full attack, and I expect that by the end of 2020, only the largest will still be alive and fighting (e.g. the Catholic and Baptist denominations), will go underground, or will have whored themselves out completely to the ‘progressive’ agenda just to remain intact.

        * assuming no changes from today (2015), by early 2022 the revolts will start as inflation and taxation reaches its breaking point. First taxes won’t be paid, then mortgages and other loans will stop getting paid….

        * Beyond this things are a bit fuzzy, but as you can tell, things will not look too good.

I think it’s all going to topple much sooner. The gays are already making demands for compliance, all over social media. The activists are already stating that they will shut down churches and businesses that discriminate their “rights”. They have deemed traditional marriages as “not real” or “stale”. Persecution of Christians will ramp up this year and next, while obama finishes off the country in a haze of race baiting and white guilt, while going after the guns.

        • EverythingISayIsALie says:

This American doesn’t trust doctors one damned bit.

          • Be aware that such intrusions about guns, vaccines, and the sexualization and perversion of children are being institutionalized on insurance and government forms and imbedded in EMR (Electronic Medical Record) software. Increasingly, doctors’ paychecks require compliance and submission of the sought information. There are a fair number of resisters in the profession who are trustworthy enemies of Big Pharma and the police state, but very few among pediatricians who, on average, are among the worst Marxist enemies of your family.

How many here are aware that graduating physicians are no longer required to take an oath on behalf of their patients? The decline of the profession is just one more loss to lament.

            • Braveheart says:

JQP, I’ve already been not trusting doctors for many years now and this is just one more reason to avoid them. My company’s group plan just got changed from BlueCross/BlueShield to HUMANA. My deductible of $5000 is the same but no coverage for meds plus it doesn’t cover as many things as the other one did. Insurance has become all but useless thanks to Obamacare. If I go to a doctor for anything, there is no longer any co-pay, just the doctors’ bill. I HAVE TO MEET THE ENTIRE $5000 DEDUCTIBLE BEFORE THE FREAKIN INSURANCE SARTS COVERING ANYTHING. I’m looking for another policy but don’t have much hope. If I have to cut lose of this coverage, so be it. If I don’t find something else, then I’ll just do without and I don’t care about the penalties. I’m beyond caring. Bring on the reset.

              • Braveheart,

If you talk to doctors who were in practice in the early 1960’s, they will tell you what happened to medical care—Medicare happened. Before Medicare, doctors typically had an office fee ($7-$10) that usually included EKGs, injections, basic lab etc. With the arrival of Medicare, the government insisted that doctors list the services provided. That got doctors thinking about the cost of that EKG machine, the EKG paper, the microscope, the urinalysis cups, the syringes, the nurse giving the shot, the office rent, the power bill, etc. and so doctors unbundled their services and charges escalated dramatically.

In the 1990’s the corporatocracy decided to crush the last bastion of independence and resistance in medicine. With the coming of IPAs and HMOs physicians became agents of industry and the police state, no longer advocates for their patients. Hillarycare/Obamacare is the last nail in the USA medical coffin.

The irony? For about $300 per year, you can get insurance in Mexico that, if you choose carefully, will obtain excellent medical and dental care… just don’t bring any of your tools of freedom and safety.

              • wrong says:

Try looking at Medi-share. It doesn’t cover much but it keeps you away from ofuckheadcare.

                • You gotta be kidding me says:

I’ve been using that since 2013, when my family coverage jumped from $300/mo. To $1200/mo. It is a plan like what insurance used to be: Used for high cost, rare circumstances. Not,what insurance has become: a way to pay $1200/mo. For something that costs around $100/visit 95% of the time. I did the match going back to when I got married and calculated I spent about $95000 on health insurance via my work plan. During that time, we paid out of pocket about $3500 (including one birth.) in reviewing the bill from the hospital for,the birth, I ended up paying most of that bill due to the way hospitals invoice insurers (at an 80% or more discount) so, what did I get for my $95000? Not much. Still had 20% exposure on anything over $1000000. So, if I would have done what a friend told me back in 2005, I would have banked about $65000, all things being equal. So, onto today. I pay $288/mo. For medi-share. I have high deductibles, but since we are a healthy family, and watch how much crap (mostly) we eat…. We have spend about $3500 out of pocket including the birth of another child in hospital (midwives illegal in our state) over the past two years. So, if I,had traditional, insurance, my total spend since 2012 would have been ~ $13500. With traditional insurance at the rates I was quoted, total spend over the same 3 years would have been about $45000 and the deductibles would have been…. The same! So, by opting out of traditional insurance and finding something that is more catastrophic coverage only, we save over $10000/yr. oh, and I looked at the aca insurance, the same plan I was quoted $1200 a month for? It was $1400/mo. On O’care, but I qualified for a subsidy, so my premium costs would have been….$1200/mo. Basically a $200/mo. payoff to insurance companies for going along with Obama care. Lovely. Out of pocket expectations? Roughly the same. So, I don’t see the point of using high costs insurance with an expectation that it will pay most of your normal expenses, because it doesn’t and you could just save that money and pay out of pocket.

            • CommonCents says:

Yup, I agree John Q…especially ever since the Govt and elitists got in bed with Big Pharma… And ‘the decline of the profession’ well, partly due to self-indulgent, easily bought, brainwashed Gen Xers now dominating the medical profession – that certainly hasn’t helped either.

Dr. asks: So, that is a yes?

Patient: I’d have to say no, since only 4 days out of 30 doesn’t actually count as a yes, and in mathematical circles, it would most often be counted as a majority no, unless “one” has now been determined by the Obomanable Calculator to mean a majorly factor over 29.

Dr. says: So it is a no?

        Patient: yes

Dr. asks: Is all your vaccinations up to date?

Patient: I gave at the office.

Dr. asks: Do you ever have feelings of depression, anxiety, mood swings, or desires to inflict bodily harm to yourself or others.

Patient: Well, that is a tough one, because down at the hunting club meetings we have a saying before the every third Saturday night meal that, “we are all glad that we are all here, because we ain’t all there, praise the Lord and pass the taters”.
And by the way, it’s a snipe hunting club, B.Y.O.B.B. = bring your own burlap bag.

Dr. says: That should be all we need for now. Please bend over the table and say .aaaahhh.

        Patient: aaaahhh hell!

It is probably just me, but my doctors are VA. The only strange question I ever get from them is “are you going to hurt yourself”. When in the CBOC, I see guys that have literally been torn apart by war. I don’t think a doctor is going to ask them stupid questions about guns.

    11. LOL at the fish joke, not so much at the speech! Luckily my docs haven’t asked any dumb questions. I have encountered some that liked to prescribe expensive mess cause they get a big kickback from big pharma. Reading reviews clued me in to that. • oicu812 says:

That retarded doctor comment made me recall a true story from back in the mid 90’s.

I had a doctor that moved to our town from a big northern city.
She was a very short, barely five foot tall, and had little tiny hands and short fingers. We met at the local convenience store in our community about ten years prior, because she had married a guy that grew up in our neighborhood. He was a big robust handsome type fellow and she was, almost a double bagger midgit type. You men know what a double bagger is.

After finding out that she was very smart and graduated at the top of her medical class, I decided I would give her a try because my regular MD had recently retired.

After several visits over the years, I was pleased that she was so knowledgeable about Internal Medicine and had helped me with several issues. She was strictly business and had no sense of humor at all.

Me, being a truck driver, I would make little wise cracks and she would always just look back at me like a little deer caught in headlights.
I needed to renew my CDL Medical Card, so an examination was in order, but I was in between Companies, and was just working here and there as a driver, so no company paid exam. I called and asked and she said yes.

Right away, I knew she was not gonna fast track me through the exam, and sure enough, the dreaded prostrate exam was the last step. As I leaned over the table, I asked, ” are you sure we have to do this, cause i have never had one of these in the past, by any doctor”? She just said, “relax, it will only take a second”, and snapped the rubber glove against her wrist as she squeezed the KY jelly on a finger.

As the cold sticky rubber hit my sphincter, I clamped down like a vise on her little two inch index. The harder I clamped, the harder she pushed. It was like a tug of war, in reverse, and with slippery bottom boots, I could not get enough toe hold to push away far enough to escape the midget lady ramming my ass, with her fist, like she was digging for diamonds or something.

After what seemed like five minutes, she finally said I can’t seem to reach it. I said, “well, I don’t think I can either, but then again, I haven’t tried either”.

“OK”, she says, “we can assume you are not having any prostrate issues, since you have not had any pain or symptoms”.

I said, “that’s good, cause, married or not, much more of that action and I’m gonna have to have some sugar afterwards or I might feel bad in the morning, being my first time and all”.

Once again, the deer in headlights look, and a quick exit, with a , “I’ll give you time to clean up and I’ll be back”.

On her return, she asked if I still did any landscape work, of which I thought was strange, but said “yes, I do some small jobs in between trucking assignments”. She just nodded, and said I’ll see you next visit.

The next visit was nearly two years later when my Medical Certification was up for renewal.
Since my last visit, I had learned she was divorced from the neighbor guy, and was living with another woman. The rumors were going around that she had turned lezzie. That didn’t matter to me, so I made the visit and this time, she skipped the prostrate exam.

After handing me the new medical card, she said, “I was wondering if maybe you could come by my house, and take a look at some of my landscaping, sometime”.

I said, “sure, I’ll have to call you when I’m gonna have a few days off”. At which she handed me her card with her cell number on the back. As she turned to walk out, she looked back and said with a faint grin (first I had ever seen from her), “I look forward to hearing from you” At that very moment I had a flash of being tied up and sexually abused by two fuggly lesbians. My ass drew up tighter than a banjo string. I never made the call, but nearly two years later, I did make a call to a new MD.

I am a dual US/Canadian citizen who hikes a lot in the Canadian Rockies.

Early pictures from the area vs. today show much glacier recession, at least for some glaciers, such as Bow Glacier, which is the source of the Bow River. The hiking book Classic Hikes in the Canadian Rockies shows this glacier around 1900. If you go there today, the same glacier is much, much receded.

BUT here is the rub. The same anti-science types, who think science is determined by “consensus” (of which there is none, not even close) rather than **experimentation and hypothesis testing**, unthinkingly look at this and make utterly unwarranted conclusions. The fact of the matter is that there was something called the Little Ice Age (LIA) the nadir of which was the early 1800s. The simple fact is that this was one of the coldest periods since the Ice Age, and we are still emerging from this. THAT, mon ami, is why the Bow Glacier – and its sisters – have receded: we are still emerging from that LIA. This is why, according to the Archeological Survey of Canada, the tree line was 100 km. NORTH of where it is today during the MWP (Medieval Warm Period, which was preceded by the similar Roman Warm Period. Incidentally, that emergence from the Little Ice Age has stopped over the past dozen years – there has been ZERO global warming since 1998, which now even the co-opted IPCC admits, as did Phil Jones at Hadley , the lead global warmer – until ClimateGate forced him to resign (and you’ll notice the leftists and Agenda 21 scamsters hope you’ll forget Climategate… along with Lois LernerGate

More evidence. Kegwins’ study in Nature on marine radioistopes shows that we are, today, still BELOW the 3,000 year average. If you google “Dr. Tim Ball+picea glauca” or go to http://drtimball.com/2012/sensationalist-and-distorted-climate-stories-increase-as-climate-science-failures-exposed/ you will find a white spruce stump on the coast Canada’s Arctic Ocean, dated about 5,000 years ago, and NOWHERE near today’s treeline. Of course, no one on the left has the intellectual honesty to address any of this.

The reality is that the left, the BIG GREEN MONEY, and the Agenda 21 types want to control energy, which allows them to control everything that touches, which is… well, everything

More for faux global warmers: Since when has “consensus,” rather than experimentation and hypothesis testing defined science? Since Galileo? Copernicus? Columbus? Since Hitler had published “100 Scientists Against Einstein?” Since Ignaz Semmelweis was drummed out of the medical biz in the 1800s for insisting his doctors wash their hands between operations? Oh, and that consensus horsemanure?

Al Gore, the same man who dropped out of graduate school (in a non-scientific area no less) has stated about global warming “The debate in the scientific community is over.” In contrast, Dr. Richard Lindzen of MIT, professor of atmospheric science has stated “Al Gore is wrong. There is no consensus on global warming.” and the frantic alarmism all over the media has, in Dr. Lindzen’s own words, “nothing to do with science.”

Meanwhile, Colorado State University meteorology professor emeritus William Gray says about global warming: “It’s a big scam.” Frederick Seitz Past President of the National Academy of Sciences sponsored a petition against the whole global warming façade, which over 19,000 scientist signed this petition… as opposed to the 600 the U.N. could scrounge up, and some of these 600 have since reconsidered their past agreement, such as Nobel Prize winning physicist Ivar Glaever who stated in an update to the U.S. Senate Minority report for 2007 that “Global warming has become a new religion” and “I am a skeptic,”.Japanese scientist Kiniori Itoh, another former IPCC member who has called Gorian warming a “scientific scandal,” while noting that people “will feel deceived by science and scientists” when they learn the truth. For a complete list of signees to the OISM petition – which includes a simply staggering number of Ph.Ds go to the .oism (dot) org/pproject/ site, where they are arranged in alphabetical order. Meanwhile a similar petition www (dot) petitionproject – as of Aug., 2008 – had 31,072 scientist signatures, including 9,021 with Ph.Ds disagreeing with anthropogenic global warming.

      The Trans Pacific Partnership
by John Rappoport nomorefakenews dot com

“When puppets dance on the end of a string, they need to exhibit a pretense of freedom once in a while to keep the customers interested. It is part of the “Con”.

The Congress has now granted Obama “fast track authority”. What does that actually mean? It means that the TPP treaty comes up for consideration soon, the gargantuan Globalist takeover of 12 national governments CANNOT BE AMENDED. IT CANNOT BE FILIBUSTERED. From the time it is introduced, no more than 90 days can elapse before the House and Senate cast their yes or no votes.

Most people concede that the passage of fast track ensures the passage of TPP, but of course this isn’t so.

Nothing would prevent the Congress from voting the TPP down, especially and because the contents of the treaty are SECRET. The public isn’t informed of the details.

Any US legislator with a trace of courage would do just that–vote it down.

The legislators themselves have been allowed to enter a sealed room and read some of the content but there is no guarantee that they are reading the final draft of the treaty.

The legislators may take notes in the sealed room, but they cant keep their notes. They cant make copies. They cant discuss what they have read to the press or public.

Again, on that basis alone, any legislator with a shred of honor would vote NO on the treaty.

      AND NO ON SECRECY.

If a member of Congress did break OMERTA and reveal to the public what he read in that sealed room, he would be VIOLATING Executive branch regulations on classified information (national security) and he could be arrested.

Well, that is exactly what a Senator or Representative who, with courage and honor, who opposes the TPP, should welcome. An arrest? He should celebrate it!

First of all no sitting legislator is going to receive a
stiff prison sentence for violating secrecy in this instance.

Second, by being arrested he would become a popular hero over night and force the issue of secrecy into a global spotlight.

Third, the whole idea of the Executive branch forcing legislators to maintain secrecy on a trade treaty is egregiously illegal–and the arrest of an honorable legislator would set up a potential constitutional crisis. Exactly what this country needs.

      What crisis?
Ever heard of the separation of powers? The
Constitution was established to create three branches of government, Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. The powers of each serve as a check and balance on the others to prevent the federal government from becoming….exactly what it is today; a bloated, fungal, expanding force dominating the states and people.

The Executive branch telling the Legislative branch it cannot disclose the contents of a trade treaty to the press and public is a draconian overstep of its power and a clear violation of separation of power.

The fact that not one of these Senators or Representatives have revealed all he knows about the TPP, in order to correct the fundamental violation and gotten arrested) is an absolute signal that they are FAKING IT. Faking in broad daylight.

A few legislators have alluded to what they have read in the sealed room–small pieces of it. But that is it. That is the extent of their “outrage”.

The rest is BULLSHIT of the highest order. The debate over the TPP, the opposition, the objections, –ALL BULLSHIT.

Those Senators and Representatives who will eventually vote no on the TPP know very well that the majority will vote yes. So their vote wont mean a thing, except for gaining a lot of publicity and perhaps currying a bit of favor with their constituents back home.

The Executive branch, under Obama is actually providing an ideal opportunity for any honorable legislator. By classifying the TPP as “secret” a Senator or Representative can get himself arrested and “jump the fence”. He can cause a massive uproar. He can also force his colleagues in the house and senate to rally to his defense–or expose themselves as corrupt disloyal cowards.

It is a perfect situation for any legislator with courage. But there are no takers. They are all FAKERS. Including Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Rand Paul.

These three know their opposition to the TPP doesn’t mean a thing. They know they could go further and spill the secrets they know, at a press conference, and state in no uncertain terms that they dare a President to have them arrested. But they wont do it.

They are part of what amounts to a “federal collective”, a club of little insiders, and they wont break those chains.

Even when doing so would catapult themselves into the stratosphere of heroes—-Can you imagine what a stage play that would be?……

That play would wake a lot of people up. And for those who, even then, would refuse to fathom what’s going on….back to your snoozefest. Everything is wonderful. The state loves you. The state spies on you because it loves you. The state needs people like you….”

Everyone, including you bible thumpers, read some truth for a change. First, most anything by the Valorian Society especially: Human History(viewed as sovereign individuals vs manipulated masses). And Human Culture as Regressive Social Insects.
Then Pierre Clastres who studied South American Indians who gave the right to violence to the individual not the state.
Next Bob Black: The Abolition of Work which explains work as play.
And last but not least Eckhart Tolle: A New Earth.
Until most humans understand the concepts in the above reads we will repeat history and continue our enslavement and likely extinction. Shake the mind control at least long enough to educate yourself, or go ahead and continue all this relentless verbal masturbation that will never free us or save us.

we dont have to read all that stuff(and i’m on my 28th book this year; so i read plenty).

the history of the world is the elite rules the masses and the masses go along believing the elite wont sacrafice them to save themselves all the while until its too late and many, many masses die; then the elite hit the reset and start again.

that’s whats going to happen here. dont know if the usa goes away in the process but unless you’re an elite, you’ll be lucky to come out unharmed.

Human nature has always been and will always be the same.

This is why we repeat history.

        • charles king says:

You really have it figured out don’t you. What a cute little saying but you are wrong. We repeat history because we don’t know what causes it. And most are unwilling to find out. That is why sites like this exist with same old shit expressed over and over. Open your damn mind and shake the mind control. If people in general understood what makes it go round we wouldnt be down the tubes. How can you be so ignorant that you reject something without even knowing what it says. Not only that but most likely you have never come across the concepts in those suggested readings. Those readings contain things that very few people have been exposed to. You must work for big brother. You can’t be that ignorant. Do the reading then come back with something less moronic.

Correct, asshole. Now how does this invalidate anything he said?

“That is why sites like this exist with same old shit expressed over and over. Open your damn mind and shake the mind control. If people in general understood what makes it go round we wouldnt be down the tubes. ”

And your belligerent post is helping this situation, how exactly?

“You must work for big brother. You can’t be that ignorant. Do the reading then come back with something less moronic.”

            The moron is you.

Then stop being such a fucking asshole.

            • charles king says:

I have taken a hard look in the mirror. And you are just another mind controlled fool who won’t even look at something new or possibly a tool of big brother. Do the reading and all those blind questions you asked will be answered. If anyone wants to see the result of mind control just look at your buddies here putting down suggested readings not even knowing what they are. You got to be one of those mind controlled christians or a paid traitor for big brother. One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. That makes nearly every one on this site a damn nut case. Nothing but the same shit over and over going absolutely nowhere. Can’t you see that your brilliant ideas are doing nothing. Hell, a common attitude around here is i’m going down in a hail of bullets but i’m taking some of them with me. I don’t see any resonable plan or solution because none of you here or most anyone anywhere has one. Most of you can’t come up with anything better than hoarding crap food and going down in a hail of bullets while you thump your bible. You do not have answers or solutions and you aren’t open to any. Well you can lead a horse to water. I know I have planted some seeds and there are some with open minds and I understand you can’t come to my support in this environment. That is fine. I had some fun. Once again im out of here for awhile. None of it really matters because as you can see we are mostly a mind controlled nation of conformists waiting for our demise. Insanity.

            • charles king says:

All the major religions and probably all religions are mind control programs. And when you are mind controlled you don’t know it or you wouldn’t be mind controlled. Christianity is a cult. A death cult. And the more you defend a belief the more it indicates the depth of your mind control. And when you defend a belief at all costs it proves you are only defending a belief. Truth needs no defense. Those who know don’t defend what they know. Only a mind controlled belief needs defense.

Smart phones are nice they have all these apps that help you but the fact is they are tracking devices. The gps can be used to find you where ever you go there are cameras all over the place walmart know as soon as you pull in the lot. I don’t have a smart phone never did I don’t feel the need to have the internet with me everywhere I go. The cars have the blue tooth built into the car. Enabling you to take phone calls in the car hands free. If you were being bugged by the authority’s they could hack your smart phone and turn on the microphone in your car and listen in on your private conversations. I don’t have the hands free phone thing in my truck it’s too old. People think this technology is so great and helps them out. But it helps hackers and gov track your movements which to me is an invasion of privacy. The new trucks have the hands free thing installed and it’s not an option most likely because the gov wants it there. Progress is more tech and bullshit that kills your privacy and ability to keep your business hush. It’s bullshit and if you play their game you will get burned that’s the way they have made it they are the dealer and they control the chips. All the shit we post here is filtered and stored in some mainframe somewhere . I know I don’t post stuff on here that is incriminating as of now but when the rules get stricter what then. The cameras all over public buildings in side and out are a pain in the ass too I’m not a criminal but a guy I work with was making a delivery and when he was done he pulled over into a empty lot to take a leak he was discreet about it he was on the side of his truck in a corner of the lot where the woods were. Well the cameras caught him and the company said he could not come back there again. No big deal really you can’t even take a piss without being watched . The only reason I know this was someone told me this happened. He’s a good guy too but you can’t take a piss in the weeds anymore it’s not like he was shitting in the corner of the lot. I don’t see the big deal really . It just goes to show you that privacy is non existent. The inside of your car to have a private conversation is not safe your home is not safe. Seems a walk into the woods without any devices is the only way.

For Those Who Live Near Aspen Tree:

      Medicinal use of American Aspen:
American aspen has a long history of herbal use. It was widely employed medicinally by many native North American Indian tribes who valued it especially for its antiseptic and analgesic qualities, using it in the treatment of wounds, skin complaints and respiratory disorders. It is used for the same purposes in modern herbalism. The stem bark is anodyne, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, astringent, diaphoretic, diuretic, febrifuge, nervine and stimulant. The bark contains salicylates, from which the proprietary medicine aspirin is derived. It is used internally in the treatment of rheumatism, arthritis, gout, lower back pains, urinary complaints, digestive and liver disorders, debility, anorexia, also to reduce fevers and relieve the pain of menstrual cramps. Externally, the bark is used to treat chilblains, haemorrhoids, infected wounds and sprains. The bark is harvested from side branches or coppiced trees and dried for later use. An infusion of the inner bark is considered to be a remedy for coughs and an appetite stimulant, it is also used in the treatment of stomach pains, urinary ailments, VD, worms, colds and fevers. The root is poulticed and applied to cuts and wounds. A tea from the root bark is used as a treatment for excessive menstrual bleeding. The leaf buds are used as a salve for colds, coughs and irritated nostrils.
      Edible parts of American Aspen:
Inner bark – raw or cooked. It can be dried, ground into a powder and used as a flour. This is normally mixed with other flours for making bread etc and can also be used as a thickener in soups. It is best used in the spring. Sap – can be tapped and used as a drink. It has also been used as a flavouring with wild strawberries. Catkins – raw or cooked. Bitter.
White powder on Aspen trees is wild yeast and can be used to make bread

“I am a skeptic on climate change. I know the climate is changing, and it always has been. I’ve studied this intensively over many years. I started what I call the Carbon Project here in British Columbia back in 1989 in order to bring everybody together to discuss this subject and figure out the facts behind it. Since then, I have watched as hysteria has grown, as if the whole world is going to come to an end and civilization is going to die because of humans causing this climate change. I don’t buy that, and I certainly know we don’t have any proof of it. I’m not denying that we might be playing some role, but the natural factors that have always caused climate change have not suddenly disappeared. I’m very skeptical of the alarmist nature of climate campaigning.” –

“Today’s debate about global warming is essentially a debate about freedom. The environmentalists would like to mastermind each and every possible (and impossible) aspect of our lives.”
      – Former Czech president Vaclav Klaus, in Blue Planet in Green Shackles

The late Dr. Michael Crichton on the scam of AGW

“I want to …talk about … the rise of what has been called consensus science. I regard consensus science as an extremely pernicious development that ought to be stopped cold in its tracks. Historically, the claim of consensus has been the first refuge of scoundrels; it is a way to avoid debate by claiming that the matter is already settled. … “Let’s be clear: the work of science has nothing whatever to do with consensus. Consensus is the business of politics. Science, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right, which means that he or she has results that are verifiable by reference to the real world. In science consensus is irrelevant. What is relevant is reproducible results…“There is no such thing as consensus science. If it’s consensus, it isn’t science. If it’s science, it isn’t consensus. … .” … Consensus is invoked only in situations where the science is not solid enough. Nobody says the consensus of scientists agrees that E = mc². Nobody says the consensus is that the sun is 93 million miles away. It would never occur to anyone to speak that way.”

And now… actual SCIENCE for anti science BIG GREEN MONEY global warmers:

Moving back to Al Gore’s famed “forcing mechanism,” yet another point Al Gore missed re. this supposed issue: Oswald Bergman wrote in the Chemical & Engineering News, Oct. 23, 2006 about the self-limiting nature of global warming, outlining the Stefan-Boltzman law (see also Wien’s law). This law of blackbody radiation says that energy, or E, which is emitted from from a body with a temperature, or T, is proportional to the fourth power of the temperature, or E=oT4 . What does this mean? Since the average in-radiation from the sun at any specific location at the same time of year is pretty much a constant, “any heating due to a greenhouse effect would be expected to reach a self-limiting equilibrium very quickly after only a modest rise in temperature. The reason is that ‘out-radiation’ will overpower the greenhouse effect after a very small temperature rise because of the enormous countervailing effect of the Stefan-Boltzman law.” I’ll bet you won’t see this fact anywhere, anytime, in the popular media.

In a similar vein, Dr. Richard Lindzen of MIT notes “studies rarely consider that the impact of carbon on temperature goes down—not up—the more carbon accumulates in the atmosphere. Even if emissions were the sole cause of the recent temperature rise—a dubious proposition—future increases wouldn’t be as steep as the climb in emissions” and cites another fact: he believes clouds and water vapor will counteract greenhouse emissions. Dr. Lindzen discussed this, along with Dr. Spencer and others, at the 4th Annual Global Climate Warming Conference in May, 2010 (details available at http://www.heartland.org)., where they noted climate system has a negative feedback mechanism — a dampening effect on carbon dioxide-caused warming rather and suggest that a doubling of atmospheric carbon dioxide will produce a warming of no more than 0.5 degrees Celsius, well within natural variation.

An article by well-known weatherman John Coleman at KUSI.com also discusses the forcing, or runaway global warming phenomenon at http://www.kusi.com/story/14072205/global-warming noting “It is true that CO2 can absorb heat a little faster than nitrogen and oxygen but it becomes no hotter because it cannot absorb any more heat than there is available to the other gases. This is against the laws of thermodynamics. All gases share their heat with the other gases. Gas molecules fly around and are constantly colliding with other gas molecules so they immediately lose any excess heat to other molecules during these collisions. That’s why the air is all one temperature in any limited volume.• Even if CO2 levels were many times higher, radiative heating physics shows that it would make virtually no difference to temperature because it has a very limited heating ability. With CO2, the more there is, the less it heats because it quickly becomes saturated. For a detailed explanation go to: http://www.geocraft.com/WVFossils/greenhouse_data.html.” As evidence, the article cites Venus and Mars, that have atmospheres that are almost entirely CO2 (97%), yet have no runaway global warming, as well as noting that in the past the Earth has had CO2 concentrations hundreds of times higher, yet there were ice ages at the same time.
