ALERT: It’s Here: CDC Confirms Deadly MERS Virus Infection Has Reached U.S. Soil

After a year of being kept at bay and isolated to the middle east the deadly MERS coronavirus has broken through World Health Organization containment zones and found it’s way to the United States. There is currently one confirmed case of the virus, which shows up initially with symptoms similar to a cold and then takes over the immune system, but the report from a CDC conference call on the infection is sobering. The infected individual started his travels in none other than Saudi Arabia, where the virus has been actively spreading for months. He took a plane to Chicago on April 28 via a layover in London, finishing the last leg of his journey to Indiana aboard a bus. Thousands of people were in the direct vicinity of this person while he was travelling. Because the symptoms may take several days to manifest it is quite possible that there are now people all over America who may be infected but have not yet been identified.

We urge our readers to be aware that the virus is here and that it may be spreading. The following article from Lily Dane of The Daily Sheeple provides additional details about the US-based infection, symptoms to look for, and preventative measures to consider right now in the event more cases are reported.

If you don’t have them already, acquire the necessary pandemic protection supplies ahead of any panic which may ensue should more cases be identified.

(Lily Dane | The Daily SheepleThe Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed the first case of the deadly MERS virus in the United States.

    AZFamily reports:

Middle East respiratory syndrome — or MERS — first surfaced two years ago. Since then, at least 400 cases of the respiratory illness have been reported, and more than 100 people have died.

Saudi Arabia was been the center of the outbreak. All the victims have had ties to the Middle East or to someone who traveled there.

The virus has been found in camels, but officials don’t know how it is spreading to humans.

The CDC said the infected person is a healthcare worker who traveled from Saudi Arabia to Indiana:

On April 24, the patient traveled by plane from Saudi Arabia to London, then from London to Chicago,” the CDC said. “The patient then took a bus from Chicago to Indiana. On the 27th, the patient began to experience signs of illness, including shortness of breath and coughing. The patient went to an emergency department on April 28th. Because of the patient’s symptoms and travel history, Indiana public health officials had him tested for MERS.

MERS is related to SARS, the virus that killed nearly 800 people in 2003. Both are caused by coronaviruses, members of a family of viruses that usually cause common cold symptoms and that infect a wide range of mammals.

The virus can survive on surfaces, and kills approximately one-third of people who show symptoms. Some people have been found to have the virus, but never develop symptoms or become ill.

    Here are the symptoms:

    • Coughing
    • Mucous
    • Shortness of breath
    • Malaise – a general feeling of being unwell
    • Chest pain
    • Fever
    • Diarrhea (in some cases)
    • Renal (kidney) failure

The person who brought the virus to the US traveled via airplane and bus.

It is too soon to know if the virus will spread and how many will be impacted, but just in case…are you prepared?

Tess Pennington of Ready Nutrition provides the following tips:

So what can you do to be ready for a pandemic outbreak?

    • Store a two week supply of water and food. During a pandemic, if you cannot get to a store, or if stores are out of supplies, it will be important for you to have extra supplies on hand.
    • Have a supply of face masks to wear around those who may be ill or exposed to the illness.
    • Periodically check your regular prescription drugs to ensure a continuous supply in your home.
Have any nonprescription drugs and other health supplies on hand, including pain relievers, stomach remedies, cough and cold medicines, fluids with electrolytes, and vitamins.
    • Talk with family members and loved ones about how they would be cared for if they got sick, or what will be needed to care for them in your home.
    • Prepare a sick room for the home to limit family member’s exposure to the virus.

To decrease the chances of the virus spreading and infecting other household members as well as members of your community, it is important that every effort be made to limit exposure to the illness.  Some considerations on how to prevent exposure to a pandemic outbreak are:

    1. Avoid close contact with those who are ill.
    2. Stay inside and avoid contact with others.
    3. Avoid touching your mouth, nose and eyes during any pandemic.
    4. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve when coughing or sneezing. It may prevent those around you from getting sick.
    5. Keep your hands clean. Washing your hands often will help protect you from germs. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand rub or make your own natural hand sanitizer.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
    6. If you are ill, stay indoors or keep your distance from others.
    7. Keeping your immune systems up by getting lots of sleep, having a good diet and taking antioxidants in protecting your health.

Remember, MERS is a virus and has no cure. Preventing the spread of the disease is crucial.

          • I have one question………..

A health care worker who travels the world, would be one with the means to buy or rent a car, right?

I mean, wouldn’t someone who does that be well off economically?

So why would the last leg of his travel or any leg for that matter in the U.S. be on a fricking bus out of Chicago??

            Was this intentional?

Of course, nowhere in the article is mentioned the ONLY thing that can cure it and protect those from being infected in the first place.

It’s your life. I know me and my family are safe and I control the power of manufacture of what keeps us that way in the face of the probably man made threat.

You can always follow the basically useless advice in this article, which is repeated drivel from the likes of the CDC.

Or you can protect yourself with what has become known in my family as Gods medicine.

Rely on the CDC (center for diseases controlled by the banksters) and the “advice” in this article at your own peril.

Off Topic Kinda: Silver (only one more I think)
              PKLL

              Pus
Pus is produced when bacteria break down and destroy healthy cells. Apply silver sol topically to affected areas one to four times a day and drink two teaspoons of silver sol twice a day. If pus is being produced in your throat, e.g. sore throat or strep throat, rinse your mouth with silver sol liquid or apply gel to the throat. Try to keep in place for 6 minutes.
              Pyorrhea (Gum Disease)
In addition to causing bad breath, gum disease erodes the gums and bones around the teeth, causing the teeth to fall out. Gum disease can be prevented by rinsing your mouth with one ounce of silver sol six minutes each day – the remaining rinse should be swallowed. You may also brush your teeth with silver sol gel. Co-enzyme Q10 will also be of benefit.
You can expect to have a benefit after the first brushing of your teeth. After three days you will have noticeable improvement.
              Rashes
Rashes can occur on any part of the body. They can come from irritation or chemicals that irritate. By putting silver sol gel right on the rash, you will moisturize, detoxify, and quicken healing. Apply one to four times a day and swallow one teaspoon of silver sol liquid twice a day.
              Rosacea
Rosacea is a form of bacteria that grows on the nose, making it red and swollen with pimples. This can leave very large scars. Because it is difficult to treat, doctors generally prescribe antibiotics.
Rather than use antibiotics, you can drink two teaspoons silver sol liquid twice a day and apply gel four times a day. Wash the nose lightly between each application. You should see a reduction of redness within the first two hours and a reduction of pimples in the first day.
              Sore Throat
A sore throat is generally caused by bacteria, but may also be a result of a virus. To kill the bacteria that cause pus, swollen tonsils, and red spots in the back of your throat, rinse your mouth with one ounce of silver sol for six minutes. Allow a small amount of the solution to trickle down the back of your throat and swallow every 30 seconds. Swallow the remainder when you’re done. Pump silver sol into your nasal cavity as needed for sore throat, congestion, or postnasal drip. Sinuses and throat need to be treated simultaneously so one does not infect the other.
              Dr. Gordon Pederson
              Thyroid
The thyroid gland is the major gland for the hormone system of the body. Damage to this gland can result in lack of energy, too much energy, weight gain, or weight loss. Silver sol can help because often the thyroid is damaged by a viral or bacterial infection. Drinking two teaspoons twice a day and applying silver sol gel to the throat will result in significant thyroid benefit.
              Toenail Fungus
When silver sol comes in contact with toenail fungus, it will kill it within minutes. The problem is getting underneath the nail. If possible, get through the nail and clear out as much fungus as possible with a blunt instrument. The toenail fungus can then be treated by soaking the toe in silver sol for 30 minutes every other day.
If you can’t get the silver sol through the nail, file down the top layer of the nail until it becomes water soluble. This will allow the silver to reach the fungus and kill it. It will take several months for the nail to grow out completely.
              Tonsillitis
Tonsillitis is the inflammation of the tonsils. It’s almost always caused by bacteria. Once it begins, it often has to be resolved surgically. This is unfortunate because tonsils are a key organ in the immune system.
By rinsing with one ounce of liquid silver sol for six minutes each day, you will kill the bacteria. This process can be repeated daily for a very serious tonsillitis flare up. Spraying silver into the nostrils will also help. The more contact the silver has with the back of the throat, the faster it will work.

The giveaway is his comment about it being useless in less than 5000 PPM form. Ridiculous claim, and the bottle they sell on their silversolutionusa web site is 10PPM.

Anything they sell can be made at home with a basic colloidal silver generator made with two rods and three 9v batteries.

Please tell us upon what is your knowledge is based.

Do you make your own, and what strength do you make it at? How often do you use it, and for what types of problems have you used it for in the past that it did not resolve? How much did you take, and how often?

I doubt you have ever used it for fear of turning blue, which incidentally you will do when you die from NOT using it should you catch the MERS virus.

I speak from practical knowledge and personal experience. I have made it and taken it for years, and the only side effects have been curing infections I was not trying to treat at the time such as toenail fungus and rosacia.

I haven’t been sick in several years now. I think me and my family will be fine no matter what kind of virus or bacteria we may come into contact with.

You, on the other hand, will probably not fare so well with your reliance on modern medical quackery.

It makes me laugh when clueless people totally dismiss something so powerful, without even bothering to try it and use it correctly. At least I will not have to deal with those types AFTER the pandemic finally hits.

                Good luck to you.

No I don’t take colloidal, I however go the natural route with DE, and various natural supplements. And try my best to injest organic foods!

I sure hope that it is a deep air way infection and stays like this. The bird flu was and still is something that really takes a deep couch to spread and why it only infected in the thousands over in Asai rather than in the millions. The dare terrible thing about this is that these viruses mutant so easily. IF MERS starts reproducing in the nasal areas or the throat we are all in serious sh#$.

It sure seems like one thing after another is occurring. You have Ebola not being contained. You have this very critical situation over in Ukraine and northern Europe in the Baltics. The economy and the debt is in awful shape, they of course are not telling anyone. North Korea and Porky are getting ready to test a nuke, probably a hydrogen bomb. China is upping its military in respeonse to the U.S. further encircling them with military deployment in the Philippines. Geophysical is much more active. The U.S. is finding new ways to trash the Constitution rather than finding ways to further protect and preserve it. I am waiting for the black swan to land on top of this.

Back to MERS or any viruses. The more concentrated the amount of virus the more likely you are to catch it. I cannot emphanize just how important it is to keep the hands clean with those alcohol based hand santiziers. Something people forget about are the items that they purchase in stores that a sick clerk could have touched and/or an item that someone coughed on. Every single thing you bring in should be washed off with soap and water or gone over with hand sanitzier or rubbing alcohol. Anything you eat should be throughly washed off or cooked. Think of germs on anything you have brought from the outside and treat it like it could make you sick. It is a pain to sanitize everything but it works. an ounce of prevention to prevent a ton of problems.

BI… Went to a Chinese buffet yesterday and every dish has its’ own spoon. It occurred to me how many hands had grabbed each spoon and how easily a virus could spread in such a situation. I think next time I will bring disposable gloves or see if hand sanitizer is available; I’ll probably get the freak stares, but nowadays, who knows?

Another thing I find interesting is how if you bring a pet to Hawaii, it stays in quarantine for a month even though its’ shots are up to date? Yet when someone can travel from a know bio-infected country and travel without any restrictions and even work in the medical field to boot; go figure.

                Roadster,

Good point about the importance of washing hands after using the toilet and always before handling food. I have read this has become a concern, not just in restaurants, but also in hospitals and nursing homes. The New York Times had an article about this not long ago.

When I was a child, washing hands was strongly emphasized at home and at school. I can still remember the class lining up to wash hands before lunch.

Some have attributed the lax in hand washing (by staff in restaurants, etc.) to changes in culture, affected by the influx of immigrants from poorer communities in countries, such as Mexico and others.

If there ever was a time that schools need to teach and reinforce good sanitation habits, it is now.

This is why and the experts seem to think humanity will collapse is because of the infinite growth paradigm. Michael Ruppert spoke about this as it’s impossible in a finite world.

Aside from this is the Pandora’s Box we are creating for ourselves with the push for human like artificial intelligence in robots. Stephen Hawkins wrote about it recently.

I give humanity maybe an additional 100-200 years before they wipe themselves out.

Secondly the world isn’t overpopulated, every person in the world could stand in your average US county and have over 10 square feet to stand in and there wouldn’t be any humans in any other area of the world. God said,”Be fruitful and multiply.” Jesus said, “occupy till I return.” When He returns you will see the fallacy of your statements.

It is my prayer that God blesses you with wisdom and humility. There are those that have wisdom, multiple gifts, and have come face-to-face with God but refuse to repent from their evil ways. They are Satan and his minions, both spiritual and human. The wages for their work is the same. As for me and my house we have received and participated in several miracles; which is the reason both my wife and mother-in-law, who were hardened atheists, are now baptized believers. We have a relationship with God; He is our Dad and we’re his kids! We try to do what he says, and He provides for us. We know we are loved. Our first reaction to any situation is to talk to Him. My I suggest you try the same. He’s a good Dad, He’s always there to listen and help!

To anyone on this site that doesn’t like Mac’s articles that keep us updated to the dangerous possibilities that lurk out there.

AIDS has killed 36 million people since 1981 and 35 million people right now are living with HIV. All others disasters have less impact, until it affects you personaly, directly. Someone once told me this: historians might not make a big deal of a small war or a small terrorist attack, but to the people that died and the people’s families that died from it, this was a huge event.

Up until 2004, the Indian Ocean area had NO early warning tsunami system. No one thought it necessary for something that only happened in the Pacific. about 250,000-300,000 dead people later and decimation for thousands of miles found this to be the wrong course of action. The Atlantic seacoast has been hit by mega tsunamis before from the Caribbean plate, most recently about 1400. There is no early warning tsunami system for these areas like in the Pacific. Guess that would fear mongering. Even though the Caribbean plate every few hundred years let’s loose a 9 pointer in very shallow waters that help amplify the heighth of the tsunami.

Before WW2 many people Yawned at the prospect of another world war. WW1 was the war to end all wars. Yet only 22 years later Europe was back at war. WW2 lasted ONLY 6 years, yet afterwards many countries laid in waste, tens of millions died, Japan was nuked twice, and the entire geopolitical structure of the world changed. Being ready and need to be on guard, because one or more of these so called “fear mongers” is going to explode into the real thing, a mega SHTF event.

              on the other hand:

In December of 2005, the British Medical Journal (online) published a shocking report by Peter Doshi, which spelled out a massive delusion, and created tremors throughout the halls of the CDC.

Here is a quote from Doshi’s report:

“[According to CDC statistics], ‘influenza and pneumonia’ took 62,034 lives in 2001-61,777 of which were attributable to pneumonia and 257 to flu, and in only 18 cases was the flu virus positively identified.”

You see, the CDC has created one category that combines flu and pneumonia deaths. Why do they do this? Because they disingenuously assume that the pneumonia deaths are complications stemming from the flu.

This is an absurd assumption. Pneumonia has a number of causes.

But even worse, in all the flu and pneumonia deaths, only 18 revealed the presence of an influenza virus.

Therefore, the CDC could not say, with assurance, that more than 18 people died of influenza in 2001. Not 36,000 deaths. 18 deaths.

We do trust in God, Yawn. I’m sure many of the 50,000,000+ people who died of Spanish flu also trusted in God. It’s likely that most of the 3 million people who died of typhus in Russia between 1918 and 1922 trusted in God, since Communism hadn’t had time to brainwash the Russian population with atheism yet. Their trust was not in vain, though their bodies died.

God never promised people that He would keep bad things from happening in the world. He did tell us that there exists an eternal spiritual world and that Christ made it possible for people everywhere to live in that world.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

We trust God to take away our pain and suffering in a different kind of life. That life already exists in parallel to this life. God does not necessarily respond to our petitions to remove temporal suffering, although He can and does sometimes.

This is a VERY silly video that will make children (especially grubby boys!). The adults are so UNCOOL that once the kids have gotten up from the floor laughing they do actually absorb the information.

If your kids don’t wash up before EVERY meal then now is the time to train them until it’s a Pavlovian response. that way if the situation in your area gets tricky they’ll be already mentally prepped for any increased measures you may have to take.

While you are at it, double up on hankie training. It’s shocking how many kids go to school without a lean hanky and would have my Gran turning in her grave! One thing I do not miss about teaching!

Also making your own soap in the slow cooker is suprisingly easy and a valuable chemistry lesson for home edders. Learn to make Lye from the ash from your woodstove. Google how to guides. I’ve mentioned before how lemon thyme is a lovely anti-bug herb to use but you may have your own favorites. Soap making after shtf will be a valuable skill, and even now is a fun & profitable way to build a small christmas or rainy day fund.

Biography’s of Louis Pasteur and Dr Lister make good history reading to get the hygiene message across.

I understand there is a place for alcohol gels and fancy smancy expensive products but worry that people forget the BASIC hygiene stuff. I also don’t want anyone to think finances prohibit them from making good choices here. use the alcohol gel when out and about and simple soap, bleach etc in the home. A virus does not care if a product was £50 or 50p.

Everyone should have a bulk store of Hibiclens just for general first aid purposes for humans and animals. It’s seriously good stuff for use on those “silly little scratches” that will probably be what kills us after shtf. It’s the only stuff I’ve seen to use to clean the hole left after getting stuck with a hawthorn that won’t see the wound get infected a few days later. (I’ve often wondered if the ancient picts ever used hawthorns to tip their arrows!).

Thanks for the reminder as I’m one that pops stuff away in the loft and then forgets but this is worth a bulk internet order. I only have about 3 litres of the stuff cos I keep giving bottles away to friends with infected gardening/animal scratches! (Note to self – you need to stop doing that).

Just an FYI, I know first hand that MRSA can live in betadine. Happened about 17 years ago. Can’t get into the details, but I feel that folks should know alcohol is the most effective skin disinfectant. Doesn’t hurt to double dip on the cleansers though.

Also, when folks are allergic to betadine, vinegar can be used to disinfect. We use it in the hospital when alcohol or chlorhexidine is contraindicated (cleaning the skin around wounds open to internal organs or mucous membranes ) and there is a betadine allergy.

Also, if you don’t rinse betadine off the skin, it can cause blistering.

Since we all my die soon, maybe we all can do a couple of these things to make the rest of our lives better…

      TIPS FOR A SUPERB LIFE

1.) Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate antidepressant.

2.) Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Buy a lock if you have to.

3.) Buy a TIVO, (DVR), tape your late night shows and get more sleep.

4.) When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, ‘My purpose is to_____________ today.’

5.) Live with the 3 E’s — Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.

6.) Watch more movies, play more games and read more books than you did last year.

7.) Always pray and make time to exercise.

8.) Spend more time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of Six.

9.) Dream more while you are awake.

10.) Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less foods that are manufactured in plants.

11.) Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli, almonds & walnuts.

12.) Try to make at least three people smile each day.

13.) Clear your clutter from your house, your car, your desk and let new and flowing energy into your life.

14.) Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip, energy vampires, issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead, invest your energy in the positive present moment.

15.) Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class ……but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.

16.) Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out charge card.

17.) Smile and laugh more. It will keep the energy vampires away.

18.) Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.

19.) Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

20.) Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

21.) You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

22.) Make peace with your past so it won’t screw up the present.

23.) Don’t compare your life to others’. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

24.) Ladies – Go on and burn those ‘special’ scented candles, use the 600 thread count sheets, the good china and wear our fancy lingerie now. Stop waiting for a special occasion. Everyday is special.

25.) No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

26.) Frame every so-called disaster with these words: ‘In five years, will this matter?’

      27.) Forgive everyone for everything.

28.) What other people think of you is none of your business.

29.) Time heals almost everything. Give time, time!

30.) However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

31.) Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch with them.

32.) Get rid of anything that isn’t useful, beautiful or joyful.

33.) Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need. God provides remember?!

34.) The best is yet to come. (in Heaven)

35.) No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

      36.) Do the right thing!

      37.) Call your family often.

38.) Each night before you go to bed complete the following statements:
      ‘I am thankful for __________.’ ‘Today I accomplished _________.’

39.) Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.

40.) Enjoy the ride. Remember that this is not Disney World and you certainly don’t want a fast pass. You only have one ride through life so make the most of it and enjoy the ride.

LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH. LIFE’S A GIFT .. UNWRAP IT!

From what I have read from National Institutes of Health studies, it appears that elderberry has positive effects when taken for Influenza A and B.

HOWEVER, both of those have been in the general population for a long time and have evolved to be able to infect, BUT not kill its host (excluding the immune impaired).

BUT Elderberry increases cytokine activity (it enhances your immune system)…and a cytokine storm is what kills humans when a brand new virus crosses from an animal to a human host.

An excellent immune system is what contributes to people’s deaths when a new virus appears. That is one of the reasons why young, healthy people are most affected when a new virus makes its appearance in human hosts.

FROM WIKI: “It is believed that cytokine storms were responsible for many of the deaths during the 1918 influenza pandemic, which killed a disproportionate number of young adults.[1] In this case, a healthy immune system may have been a liability rather than an asset. Preliminary research results from Hong Kong also indicated this as the probable reason for many deaths during the SARS epidemic in 2003.[8] Human deaths from the bird flu H5N1 usually involve cytokine storms as well.[9] Recent reports of high mortality among healthy young adults in the 2009 swine flu outbreak has led to speculation that cytokine storms could be responsible for these deaths, since the Swine Flu results from the same influenza strain as the Spanish Flu of 1918.[10] However, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have indicated that symptoms reported from this strain so far are similar to those of normal seasonal flu,[11] with the CDC stating that there is “insufficient information to date about clinical complications of this variant of swine-origin influenza A (H1N1) virus infection.”[11] Cytokine storm has also been implicated in hantavirus pulmonary syndrome.[12]”

Obviously, it is up to you to decide what you want your family to take…but elderberry in the face of a brand new animal-to-human virus? Hell no.

You may also find this of interest (from Life Extension):

“Further research into the actions of statin drugs has revealed that these drugs can down-regulate inflammatory immune responses to certain influenza viruses (Vandermeer 2012; Almuti 2006). A 2007 study found that moderate-dose statin users had a dramatically reduced risk of mortality from influenza … compared to non-statin users (Frost 2007). Furthermore, a 2012 study revealed that statin use may be linked with reduced mortality in patients hospitalized with influenza (Vandermeer 2012).

Of course, statins carry their own problems…but thought this was interesting.

More options: “Vitamin D is derived in the skin from its precursor 7-dehydrocholesterol following stimulation by ultraviolet B (UVB) light (eg, sunlight). It is then eventually converted to 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3, which combines with vitamin D receptors to trigger an immune response that may be effective against influenza infection (Shaman 2011). Studies suggest that vitamin D also helps prevent excessive expression of inflammatory cytokines (Cannell 2006, 2011). Because of this, it may help to prevent the occurrence of cytokine storm (Grant 2009).” https://www.lef.org/protocols/infections/influenza_07.htm

      Chest pain
      Fever
      Diarrhea (in some cases)
      Renal (kidney) failure

I must have had MERS at least 10 times last year with these symptoms.

@ Everyone. This is really an excellent map that shows the Russian military movement on Ukraine and surrounding areas. I am making a printed copy of it myself. I HIGHLY SUGGEST that anyone interested in what is happening over there please look at this.

Wonder if the rest of Russian defenses are weakened by this build up on the border? A back door counterstrike by NATO forces could wrap this up quickly. Russia falls, Putin captured and tried for war crimes. I wonder how our political machine can screw this up?

BI, I just finished examining the map. Very interesting, but I find it hard to believe the Russians only have 285,000 ground troops. that has to be a cover for the real figure.

Well as I recall a certain transparent administration was concerned about a nuclear device going off on US soil. Something’s off though, because multiple homeland security vehicles and disaster response vehicles are in my town. Makes me nervous.

Ain’t worried here. I don’t see how it is very contagious if were talking about 400 people infected and only 100 dead thus far. This is only 25% mortality. If there was 40,000 infected/10,000 dead I would be worried. Statistically I am prob much more likely to be killed in a tornado or by a texting teen the next time I get in my car(in about 10 minutes). Coronaviruses just aren’t generally that serious in the big picture.
