Venezuela Prepares For A War With The United States

The socialist nation of Venezuela has called on its military and asked them to prepare to go to war with the United States. Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro is bracing for war just days after the Trump administration banned Venezuelan officials from entering the nation.

We have been shamelessly threatened by the most criminal empire that ever existed and we have the obligation to prepare ourselves to guarantee peace,” said Maduro, who wore a green uniform and a military hat as he spoke with his army top brass during a military exercise involving tanks and missiles. “We need to have rifles, missiles, and well-oiled tanks at the ready….to defend every inch of the territory if needs be. The future of humanity cannot be the world of illegal sanctions, of economic persecution,” Maduro said.

According to NewsweekMaduro’s threats come down to the Trump administration’s hard stance against Maduro’s regime by banning money lending to Venezuela’s government or its state oil company PDVSA and passing sanctions against Maduro and his top officials. But it isn’t likely that the socialist regime has the ability to stand up to the United States in any meaningful way.

It’s unlikely Maduro has the manpower to stand up to the U.S., which has a much larger military. Maduro has maintained power in Venezuela despite mounting political and economic crises that has seen months of violent, anti-government demonstrations across the South American nation. Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino has backed Maduro during the upheaval, but some critics have begun a whisper campaign suggesting that the military could break away and support a coup against the president, Herbert Garcia, a former senior army general and minister, told Reuters in August. There have been three attempted military coups in Venezuela since 1992. –Newsweek

Russia has come out on the side of Venezuela. “We are strongly against unilateral sanctions against sovereign states,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in August. “We will carefully analyze the implications of the sanctions imposed by the United States, and their possible effect on the interests of Russia and Russian businesses. We can already say that they will not affect our willingness to expand and strengthen cooperation with the friendly nation of Venezuela and its people.”

Russia has defended Venezuela frequently lately saying Trump is simply ramping up for a war and an invasion of Caracas.

Like they have a chance. Trade cheap oil for food. Oil is the only commodity they have for their socialist country. It doesn’t work anywhere else. All we have to do is watch them collapse. They are starving, their people averaging losing 27 lbs. each last year. they would surrender for an MRE.

  2. Kevin2 says:

Many small nations fancy themselves Vietnam with their people being VC. To achieve this the one indispensable item is popular support of your people at maximum and at minimum considerably more support for your side than the other.

  3. Heartless says:

Nicholas Maduro must’ve found out yesterday after reading the article on Venezuelan women becoming hookers that his ol’ lady – Cilia Flores – was doing b.j.s for cans of Dinty Moore and tampons. Poor guy, no wonder he’s riled.

  4. TEST says:

Socialism ALWAYS and everywhere leads to violence, poverty and war. Cambodia, Vietnam (and their boat people), Mao’s Red Guard, and China’s own attempted invasion of Vietnam in the late 70s, Robert Mugabe’s disgusting Zimbabwe, racked with violence and killings, ditto with the even more disgusting Jacob Zuma in the RSA, 62 million “excess” deaths in the USSR from their own records, or Detroit and its poverty and violence, the people’s socialist thugocracy of Chicago with its record number of shootings. Even back in the French revolution, it was filled with violence and death.

Wish I had a hour to list every one of their debacles.

  5. michael houston says:

i would love to see the us invade….what a joyous fuck feast that would be….please invade….go ahead….bomb from the sky….bring your foot soldiers and watch them die….overstretch yourselves….bankrupt your country….please come….we welcome your advance….come on…..you can do it….you can do anything….you are exceptional….do it now….don’t wait…you are not afraid are you?????

    • Jacknife says:

Oh for crying out loud. The US isn’t gonna invade Venezuela. Madura is trying to unite his country so they don’t totally revolt and over throw his ass. The author of this handful of toilet paper sure is a piece of work as well. Saying that it’s unlikely Venezuela has the man power to stand up to the US. Do ya think? Sure wasn’t JJ, he’d be telling us to hide under our beds cause they’re gonna do something underhanded to wipe us out. That country is about 3/4 of the way collapsed, ain’t no need to invade. One things for sure, they ain’t gonna have any problems keeping their tanks “well oiled”.
      Stay quiet Be smart

      • Rivahmitch says:

Precisely. Why would the US invade? Venezuela has absolutely NOTHING of value to usand, left to its own devices, will soon collapse. What Maduro is doing is using the US as an excuse to build up his military to suppress the Venezuelans as they to resist his totalitarian control.

  6. Paranoid says:

Just drop TP and Snickers bars; The resulting riots will end the country.

  7. The Deplorable Braveheart says:

MH, we don’t have the troops or even the money for such a venture. Venezuela hasn’t done anything to the US. We have troops in over 100 countries as it is now. They need to be brought home. We can’t afford to be the world’s cop anymore.

  8. TedStyle says:

Every retarded commie country thinks it can beat the US for some reason.

  9. Why? says:

They have do not posses an Air Force other than 10 Mil Mi-35 helicopters and operate aging T72 tanks. With that said, why invade them? If we did take military action; it would be 100% amphibious assault assets, Marine Expeditionary Units with Naval dominance(TLAM).

  10. ouch says:

Didn’t Venezuela just start selling its oil requiring the payment first in EURO than in Yuan thereby cutting out the petro dollar?

    h t t p ://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-09-14/oil-rich-venezuela-stops-accepting-dollars

    • Old Guy says:

Yes and so far every oil producing nation that dared trade oil for anything except the petro dollar has been bombed by the USA military.

    • Rorinon says:

The problem with Venezuela’s oil is that is is heavy “sour” crude, requiring significant refinement. There is still plenty of light “sweet” crude available in the world. Venezuela’s oil will not be a truly hot commodity unless the availability of light sweet crude thins out significantly.

In other words, Venezuela has a lot of oil, but cannot get top dollar for it in the current market; having to sell it really cheap to buyers willing to spend the difference on the additional refinement necessary.

  11. DMONIC says:

Maybe these are the boogeymen HICKS has been warning us about….

  12. Kay123 says:

Thank the stupid communist demoncraps that have been running this country for the last 30+ yrs.
Bushes were NWO communist, also….Skull and Bones jerk …… anti-American sell everything traitors. Obozo the same only hateful, racist, crash our economy, establish mooslime government to replace any and all of our American leadership. Organize against and corrupt our laws and appoint terrorist organizations to over-throw our government from within… by the mass invasion of our enemies. (See the documentary “The Enemy Within.” tells all who are documented gov. communists, today.) Heads will roll for that, I bet.

Yeah, we need to give the ME several dozen more pallets of gold ….cuz they are our “friends”…. dont cha know….
And the enemy keeps their mouths shut while the gov. tells the US public more fairytales.
Oh well, just another “damn day.”

  13. “We have been shamelessly threatened by the most criminal empire that ever existed and we have the obligation to prepare ourselves to guarantee peace,” said Maduro

Well … he isn’t wrong with his analysis about AmeriKa.

Most of Venezuela’s problems comes straight from U.S. Foreign Policy that had been put into place. Any country that deserves to have sanctions put onto them – is AmeriKa … for obvious reasons that need no explanations.

  14. aljamo says:

Drones for the lesser problems, mini nukes for the tougher problems. Precision strikes with cutting edge technology. No draft unless all hell breaks loose. Deflate the hot air warhawks by reinstating the draft. Hell no they won’t go.

  15. rellik says:

We have no military interest there.
I’ll just be happy to watch socialists

  16. Comanche says:

FTW, you’re an idiot…They screwed up by allowing illiterates like Maduro run the country. He and most of his managers can’t even handle their own business in real life…

  17. jmqwerty says:

yawn. Venezuela is hardly on our radar. Who cares at this point

  18. Frank says:

Go to IMDB and look up the film, “The Mouse That Roared,” a Peter Sellers vehicle from 1959. The plot was simple: the Duchy of Grand Fenwick was bankrupt. So the idea was, declare war on the United States, let the U.S. invade and win the “war,” then Grand Fenwick would just sit back and collect foreign aid similar to how the U.S. rebuilt Europe after WWII. This is what’s happening here. Maduro has to do the grrr-grrr-woof-woof bit to mollify the citizens of Venezuela but was he really wants is for the U.S. to come in, take over, and pour billions of dollars into Venezuela…as he skims off a healthy chunk for himself. Watch and see.

    What a maroon
    What a nincowpoop

  20. Anonymous says:

Look for Maduro to pick up Russian and ChiCom military equipment in exchange for oil.
They have humongous oil reserves, and can easily get S-300/400 SAM’s and more of
Russia’s modern tanks and artillery with credit. Neocons want regime change there but the
people are programmed to hate “Yanqis”. You can topple Maduro but those people will just
rally behind a new commie. An insurgency there would bog us down for 10 years. Brazil and
Columbia have already told us not to get involved down there. We are hated everywhere.
When Maduro talks about the criminal empire, we all know he’s talking about the Deep State/ neocon hawks that want him ousted. Self preservation on his part. Nothing unites a
fractured people like a war with a hated enemy. He knows this.

  21. Brian says:

If and when conditions are the same as they are in Venezuela or North Korea, will the leadership call for war and if so with whom? Nothing like war to distract people from miserable living conditions! If the American president “rattles his saber” like the leaders of North Korea, Venzuela, and Iran, the results could be WWIII.

  22. Donl says:

…And just a few years ago Venezuela was the Socialists Star country, they had it going on, every one was fat & happy. Now look at it, what does that tell you about Socialism/Communism.
