How the DNC Rigged Arizona for Hillary: “Long Lines and Old-Fashioned Voter Suppression”

Editor’s Comment: There’s just no getting over what a farce it all is.

Even though Americans will be hearing about little else than the heated race for the presidency and the upcoming November election, there is really little reason to buy into the charade. No doubt Trump in particular has energized this election cycle like no other by playing a dual role as both villain and hero.

Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, plays villain to all but a few mindless and naive supporters who vote based on such superficial categories as gender, race and the graft of socialism. The Democratic Party, under the control of Debbie Wasserman Schultz, has so thoroughly rigged the primary as to exclude and intimidate all would be competitors to Hillary, save a tired, old, grumpy socialist who has entered a race that is unwinnable because the “victor” was decided in the minds of the insiders long ago, and because the delegate and party rules have skewed any chance of a Hillary upset. Did anyone ever question why Biden refused to enter the race, or why the Republicans managed to have 17 contenders, and the Democrats only 3?

Watch Schultz struggle to explain the super-delegate system as a way of keeping candidates from being challenged by grassroots voters:

Will voters question why the independent streak in Arizona was altogether kept from casting a vote, and the whole charade in that state’s voting process, as well as numerous other primary states has been a total joke? Bernie has garnered just enough support to remind Americans – regardless of their political leanings – how little choice they have in their leaders. Conversely, Republican voters are being reminded that the party can and will challenge their pick if indeed it ends up being a person like Trump, who is not locked into the self-serving mechanism of the political party machine.

American Democracy – Allegations of Voter Suppression Emerge from the Arizona Primary

    by Michael Krieger

The following is extremely disturbing. If I were a Bernie Sanders supporter in Arizona, I’d be absolutely apoplectic.

    AZCentral reports:

By a combination of misjudgment, misplaced priorities and old-fashioned voter suppression, Tuesday’s primary was a disaster.

As reported by The Arizona Republic’s Mary Jo Pitzl, Maricopa County reduced the number of polling places from more than the 200 available for the 2012 presidential election to … 60.

    Sixty? Are you kidding me.

The fact that a voter could go to any polling place didn’t matter much when the lines were so long that many people were forced to abandon the line.

I’ve heard from a number of those who stood outside and waited, and waited, and waited.

And if that isn’t bad enough, Arizona law already effectively disenfranchises 36 percent of registered voters.

These would be voters who are unaffiliated with any political party. Independent. The only way those individuals can vote in a presidential primary is to re-register with a political party. And they have to do so 29 days before the election.

It’s ridiculous to think that 36 percent of Arizona voters — can’t vote.

They represent a constituency that is larger than the state’s Democrats.

They represent a constituency that is larger than the state’s Republicans.

It should be more and more clear to everyone that Arizona needs to institute an open primary system. Otherwise a plurality of Arizona voters is, essentially, permanently disenfranchised.

That’s bad enough, but it gets worse. After waiting in line for hours, some registered Democrats were then told they weren’t registered as Democrats and therefore couldn’t vote.

Screen Shot 2016-03-17 at 3.08.44 PM

    The Phoenix New Times reports:

Polling places in Maricopa County were swamped with enthusiastic voters today, spurring gripes and a possible election complaint over party identification problems.

The state Democratic Party sent an e-mail to constituents asking them to send their election-day stories for a complaint that would be submitted to the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office. Enrique Gutierrez, Arizona Democratic Party spokesman, said some Democrats waited in long lines — then were told they weren’t really Democrats when they tried to obtain a ballot.

“We’ve received complaints throughout the whole day of lifelong Democrats showing up to the polls and being told they are either independent or have no party affiliations,” Gutierrez said. No official election complaint will be submitted — yet, he says. But the party will continue to gather information.

A message left for county Elections wasn’t immediately returned.

The Washington Post also covered the story:

All day Tuesday, voters in Maricopa County reported waiting in lines that stretched around the block, sometimes for hours. County officials told local news the long lines were in part to blame on independent voters showing up without realizing they couldn’t vote in Arizona’s closed Democratic and Republican primaries. But at least one voter who contacted The Washington Post said she was turned away even though she’s a registered Democrat and that election officials blamed a computer glitch that rendered many Democrats as independents in the eyes of the system.

Somehow I don’t think this will encourage Bernie supporters to vote Hillary.

    Any questions?

You want to help the U.S.? Don’t hope for a president or candidate to get shot. Hope for a senator/congressman to get shot.

    5. aljamo says:

Reminds me of (P) rick scott, the twice elected Florida bigshot who somehow led a company that ripped off Medicare and got away with it and was still elected. His election has been blamed on the yahoos up in the panhandle. Scott refused to reinstate felons voting rights after they finished their sentence. He killed high speed rail which this state needs. That pic of Hellary up top looks like a man.

      • Winston Smith says:

Why, precisely does Florida need high speed rail, especially that stupid I-4 corridor line they were proposing? There simply is not the public transportation infrastructure that would be needed in addition to the stupid train. They wanted it to go from a spot in Ybor City (it’s a night club district in the middle of a high crime ghetto for those not from here) to some other awful place in Orlando. How exactly are people supposed to get around once they get to one of these destinations? Rent a car? If so, it makes more sense to just drive there to begin with as the distance between the two cities is an hour at best and the train might save 15-30 minutes of that when you factor in all the hassle of parking, buying a ticket, waiting for a train, and then finding suitable transportation at your destination.

What would possibly make sense is some sort of commuter rail that would link the suburbs to the cities, say maybe New Port Richey or Hudson or even Lakeland to Tampa or something like that. Even so, that’s for those local areas to pay for, if voters want it, and not the whole state.

        • Equorial says:

Yeah, but with a train they can kill a mess of people with one accident. Put them all in cars and it would take years. On a train that derails ….that different! ANYTHING to get us OUT of our cars (we can’t be trusted to drive any longer so they will make sure we don’t hurt ourselves, and it’s the same with guns, they just wanna make sure we don’t hurt our little ol’ selves with big-person stuff like is made for THEM to use, not us.

      • WhoWuddaThunkIt says:

aljamo… I know Rick scott should be in prison for Medicare Fraud. But I think he is trying to redeem himself. He has signed at least 5 to 7 great Pro Gun Laws to protect gun carriers which are 1.4+ Million now in the State of Florida. I don’t like him that much, but is running the state fairly well. Not a debtor state and sitting in surplus and No State Income Taxes. Property Taxes fairly cheap. And plenty of sunshine. The Rail system is just a boondoggle. Only one who benefits is Disney who wants the cattle hauler trains to stop at their gates. Its a waste of money and more destruction of personal property.

Whats funny I just read that Texas only has 1 Million permit carry holders. They were celebrating their 1 Million Mark.. For such a Big state with Big mouths and big heads, and Big guntalkers, Texans ain’t got nuttin on Florida. All Hat and No Cattle..

        ~WWTI…

    6. Weasel says:

It’s already been decided by THEM, that Hillary will be President.
Like it or not, here SHE comes!
(That’s right, unbelievers – your vote Really doesn’t count.)

    7. aljamo says:

Hitlery and Cruz both have slimed themselves and their backers cheating in these primaries from the onset. Two evil warmongers, either of which will bring a continued downfall of America if elected.

      • TEST says:

Yeah, and Trumps sleazeballing is preferable? Gee, my hands are big and that means….. nudge nudge wink wink. And Carly and Heidi Cruz are ugly, but look at my chicky-poo. Isn’t she hot? And then there are those bankruptcies, and “If I owe the bank $1,000 dollars, I have a problem, but if I own the bank a billion dollars, IT has a problem” attitude in the 90s.

Look NO ONE here wants the Deep State, but how do you know Trump hasn’t already, or won’t, make his own backroom deals? Running a democratic country is NOT the same as running a private business, and it SURE isn’t like running a reality show.

I will vote for Trump as a second choice for sure, make no mistake. No circular firing squad for me. And I do NOT bad mouth him publicly or among friends (this comment here excepted) But he is not my first choice, and all this mania is reminiscent of what brought the disgusting Obungler into power. How about just discussing the facts and relative merits of policies, and leave p*n*s size, how “hot” ones’ wife is, or whether I would marry my daughter is I were younger horseschitt out of it. The Founding Fathers were EXTREMELY explicit about electing people of strong moral character, as that ALWAYS filters down to decisions made.Trump concerns me most here (again, purists, NO ONE is perfect. We get it. But there are relative degrees of variation that bear examination)

Point is, Cruz is NOT supported by the back room boys, and called the “most hated man in the Senate” for a reason. He too is not playing the old boys game. That should put him on the list of liberty lovers’ potential vote for list.

Is he perfect? Not by a long shot. But he has a much better chance to win against true evil, Hitlery, we will have a conservative SCOTUS nominee, and to be honest, Cruz not only talks a conservative line, but his voting track record supports it. Trumps track record? A mish-mash of supporting liberal causes mixed with some conservative stuff.

To be honest, IMHO, a lot of Trump mania supporters will end up disillusioned like the Obungler supporters after the mania ends.

This being said, not voting (I know, I know, you purists here wouldn’t even vote for George Washington; obscurantism and solipsism is your credo. We get it) is not an option, and Hitlery will truly finish this country. So, yes, we have two remaining candidates (Kasich is just Jeb Bush lite). I will vote for either, but I think Cruz has a track record that is more reliably conservative, and has a better chance to beat our own home grown fascist, Hitlery.

And spare me the Cruz hating stuff. I get it. He is not perfect either, and their are things I really don’t like about him either. Issue is, we live in an adult world (well, ok, leftists don’t – that’s why they are voting for “Free Ice Cream for Everyone” Bernie or The World’s Most Accomplished Liar of all time, Golman Sachs supported Hilary), so we have to make some accommodations somewhere given the fact that we live in a fallen world (anyone here married? Then you get it).

Yeah, darn right I’m voting for Cruz. Fill in your snarky comments here _________________, and let me know what brilliant other options you have instead. Until then, I will vote Cruz, and if Trump wins, vote Trump as a second choice. My goal is to try to hold the line while the forces of liberty and supporters of the republic regain their footing in the real battle -which is that of the culture wars.

        • Like him or don’t like him – please continue to read:

Ted Cruz is not eligible to be President of the United States; The meaning of “Natural Born.”

As you read the following, consider this; Ted Cruz’ supporters, the Tea Party, the GOP, and the establishment media may all look the other way about the fact that Ted Cruz does not meet the Constitutional requirements to be President or Vice President. But does anyone think that if the GOP anoints Cruz as their candidate, that Hillary’s lawyers won’t go to court and have him thrown out of the election?

“No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.” — Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, clause 5

Ted Cruz is ineligible to run for President of the United States. He was born in Canada, of parents who were Canadian citizens at the time of his birth. Cruz’s mother claims to have been born in Delaware. The State of Delaware claims not to have any records of her. It makes Cruz’s mother a US citizen, but maybe not Cruz himself!

Raphael & Eleanor Cruz emigrated to Canada sometime in the early 1960s and in 1968 Mr. Cruz became a naturalized Canadian Citizen. It appears that Eleanor by virtue of her marriage also attained Citizenship one year later and Raphael Eduardo (Ted) Cruz was born December 22, 1970, to two parents who had lived in Canada, and had applied for and received Canadian citizenship under Canadian Immigration and Naturalization Laws. U.S. statutes would have voided the prior “green card” status which requires among other things, permanent residency within the United States and obviously, not becoming a citizen of another country during the time frame of the U.S. green card. In 1970, Canada did not recognize the concept of dual citizen. Hence Cruz is Canadian by birth, ONLY Canadian by birth, despite his parents’ lineage! The fact that Ted Cruz claims to have renounced his Canadian citizenship proves this!

For Ted Cruz to be a US citizen by virtue of his mother’s dubious nationality, the parents would have to fill out a special form at the US Consulate called the Consular Report of Birth Abroad of a Citizen of the United States of America (CRBA) to document that the child was a U.S. citizen. But according to Cruz’ own spokeswoman, Catherine Frazer, Cruz’s mother did not fill out that form until 1986, in order for Cruz to obtain a US passport to participate in a High School trip abroad. That means that from 1974, when Cruz’s family came to the US, until that form was completed in 1986, TWELVE YEARS, Ted Cruz was an illegal immigrant in the United States!

Now then, to the “Natural Born” requirement!

Ted Cruz’s supporters try to get around “Natural Born” by claiming it simply means any US citizen, an opinion even echoed at Wikipedia!

But if any US citizen could be President, then the qualifier “Natural Born” would not be needed (and is not present in the Constitutional citizenship requirements for Representatives and Senators). Clearly, to the Founding Fathers, “Natural Born” had a specific and obvious meaning, applied exclusively to the Presidency!

The Founding Fathers did not need to define what “Natural Born” meant inside the Constitution as it had been defined in existing legal theory in works such as “The Law of Nations” by Emerich de Vattel, published in 1758 and relied on heavily by the framers of the Constitution. “Natural Born” was already legally defined when the Constitution was written as “born inside the nation.”

Vattel’s definition of a natural born citizen: Law of Nations, Book I, Ch. XIX, at § 212:
§ 212: The citizens are the members of the civil society: bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens.

The requirement that parents be citizens also means Marco Rubio is not eligible, because while born in Miami, his parents were both citizens of Cuba, not the United States.

“…I am much obliged by the kind present you have made us of your edition of Vattel. It came to us in good season, when the circumstances of a rising state make it necessary frequently to consult the law of nations. Accordingly that copy, which I kept, (after depositing one in our own public library here, and sending the other to the College of Massachusetts Bay, as you directed,) has been continually in the hands of the members of our Congress, now sitting, who are much pleased with your notes and preface, and have entertained a high and just esteem for their author. Your manuscript “Idee sur le Gouvernement et la Royaute” is also well relished, and may, in time, have its effect. I thank you, likewise, for the other smaller pieces, which accompanied Vattel…” — Ben Franklin, in a letter to Charles William Fredric Dumas, confirming that Vattel’s “Law of Nations” is the legal source used for the Constitution.

The inclusion of the “Natural Born” requirement for the US Presidency was proposed at the Constitutional Convention by Chief Justice John Jay, who wrote, “Permit me to hint, whether it would not be wise and seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government and to declare expressly that the Command in Chief of the American army shall not be given to, nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen…”

The intention is clear that the Presidency not be open to anyone not born within the United States.

In addition, there are no less than four United States Supreme Court Decisions that reaffirm that “Natural Born” means “Born inside the nation.”

          The Venus, 12 U.S. 8 Cranch 253 253 (1814)

          Shanks v. Dupont, 28 U.S. 3 Pet. 242 242 (1830)

          Minor v. Happersett , 88 U.S. 162 (1875)

          United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649 (1898)

There has never been a United States Supreme Court Decision that ruled “Natural Born” as having any other meaning than “born inside the country.”

All of Cruz’s supporters, including the corporate media, are demonstrating either an ignorance of the US Constitution, or an utter disregard for it. This tells us that were Cruz to become President, he would continue the long and tragic tradition of recent Presidents to ignore the Constitution to the detriment of the people.

The Constitution is the original contract with America. It is the rules by which We The People allow the government to act as caretaker of our National Sovereignty. If a politician does not wish to work within the restrictions and rules of the Constitution, the honorable thing to do is resign and find useful employment. If Ted Cruz’s supporters wish to live in a nation not protected by the Constitution they are free to move elsewhere.

But under the rules this nation operates on, Ted Cruz is not eligible to be President of the United States, and under the Twelfth Amendment, Cruz may not serve as Vice President either.

          • It's Over says:

I 100% agree. Cruz is clearly not eligible to run or serve as President.

I thought these so called ‘conservatives’ would have wised up after looking at the Kenyan/white hybrid non-citizen we currently have in the White House. Their response was to choose a Cuban/white hybrid non-citizen to support.

The Enquirer is now reporting on a Cruz mistress sex scandal.

If any of it is true, I won’t be surprised in the least.

        • passinwiththewind says:

One must know that Cruzzer is the epitome of a cheat, which makes him a liar.

He knew what his man was doing when he tried to sway Carson voters. No one can look at all of Cruzzer’s team, including wifey, and not see that he is a wolf in sheeps clothing. He is NWO/globalist from top to bottom. Surrounded by a bunch of them.

His long running stance as a ‘constitutionalist’, is just a facade, for the inner illuminati man.
He got his training by following the Bush’s style. Now, who is his biggest supporter….Jebster the jester. If he, cruz, were not a continuation of the Bush agenda, which is as hardcore anti-American as odrama, then he would not be getting the most ruthless of backers.

He may look all slick and patriotic on the surface, with evangelical warblings, but when you get down to the inner man, he is just another bush nazi, with the glimmer of demonic spirits.

As I have said before, trumpster may turn out to be a disaster if he by some slim chance gets in, but he is our “only” chance at anything close to a big fat kotex, to temporarily slow the bleeding.

With billery, the nation gets jezebel on steroids with millions of straight razors and tons of salt to pour into all the new wounds she will create. Her and sick willy, are as demonic as they come, and this nation deserves all the pain it gets, by allowing those two to continue in public works, if elected. They sold America out to the highest bidders.

i can’t believe test has chosen to support the cabal. As I have said earlier, I support trumpster, because of the positive possibilities, (an Melania), but i will not vote for him because I don’t know the inner man well enough to trust him. If he gets lucky, four years will tell the tale and then, If I am still breathing, I will decide then.

          • Well said ‘Passin, and spot on with the Trump analysis too.

            May I add …

When it comes to Political figures/wanna-be’s.

“Words are cheap, their actions and behavior says the true nature of an individual”

None of the Candidates pass the Smell Test, obviously some worse off than others … but to those who support any one of them.

This is not “Freedom Of Choice”.
This is a Con-Job … being once again, forced onto the American Populace.

The “American Dream/Illusion” will continue for many, as long it has a strong supporting base of Citizens putting up with their habitual bullshit year in and year out.

I agree that Hillary is going to be our next President because how nice to vote in the first woman president and screw everything else.

Today I discovered a new form of camo using two colors.

Flat olive drab and medium charcoal. It mimics grass with leaf shadow. I was in the shade of a tree and happened to look down and then painted the shapes and colors on some tin metal sheets. Like out of focus leaves. Remarkable. Spray paint, Love it.

        • eppe says:

Sling, take parts of the natural foilage you want to mimic. Then place them on the object you paint. Makes for custom spray paint camo.
Got some portables that look rightious…

Finer leafed plants make for a more natural spray paint design.

    10. I would have liked to hear that people showed up at the polls prepared to wait, no longer how long it takes. Lounge chairs. Picnic baskets full of food and drinks. Plenty to share. Perhaps a guitar and a serenade. Well, we Trumpsters will be prepared. Let’s make the competition marvel at our resilience and determination. After we win, we can forget the crap they put us through and get busy making America great again.

I’m in Idaho doing some maintenance on some property we own here. I was in a small town last night and there is a pretty large regional auto dealership there. I have a couple of old classic type cars but my driver is a twenty year old pickup that I have changed engine and trans out in and it runs fine. Back to the off topic subject—- I drove through this rather large car lot which represents several american manufacturers, ford-gm-dodge. Prices were posted in the windsheilds of rows of pickups. They were from 30 to 70 thousand dollars! These are being sold to people who often are renting houses. We are so fucked!! To these people this is on a level with the US 20 trillion debt. I lose touch with the magnitude of stupid debt so Suzy can drive a 7 foot high diesel pickup to the fucking store for tampons. Maybe we should promote Acid Etch for President. I am sorry for the rant and realize that I am getting old but are others of you seeing this kind of insanity out there?

Keep up with your rants for I feel the same way.

You see Skeptic, the buyer has placed themselves out of the market. How many crazy do dad’s do you need on a car or truck. The next thing the car companies will have to offer is some type of sex machine. But the buyer doesn’t know he is getting screwed right now. And loving it I might add.
It’s there money so let them spend all they want and when things go south the bank will be back to take their multi gadget feel good piece of junk.

If you need all this items like a camera and auto stop on your car, you should not be driving. Hell some cars can parallel park itself. Oh how about those cars that drive themselves. Wonder what the prices on one of those baby’s is going to be.

        • aljamo says:

        B from CA,

I agree with you. While I am disgusted with some of the voting irregularities going on, I vote.

      • Ga Doc says:

I have always felt that if you don’t bother to vote, then you can’t complain about the outcome. But with the way the rules are set up in differnt states; some are winner take all and others are proportional delegates to the number of votes you get, it doesn’t seem like real vote. Then there are the “Superdelegates” from the state that are not bound by the popular vote when they get to the convention. For the Republicans, the delegates are only bound to the voting results from their state for the first round of voting. If a candidate doesn’t get the required number of delegates, in round one, then the delegates are free to vote for any of the candidates.
With all this leeway allowed for the delegates to choose their candidate, why bother with a primary “election”. This seems even more crazy than how we vote for an “electoral college” to choose our president.

        • GaDoc
Just a thought you might want to consider.
Let’s say the RNC gives the nod to Ted Cruz, a wholly owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs.
Say the DC gives the nod to Hillary Clinton, a wholly owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs.
Teddy and Hilly are part time employees of Monsanto Money.
You vote for the shill of your choice and whine for the next 4 years and wait for the end.
I refuse to vote for either shill… I write in Daisy Duck, and vote in the lesser elections. I spent the next 4 years like I spent the last 30… being a political activist. I go after issues, I donate money and time. I helped shut down government swirl boards over losing Internet equality, for example. Because your vote for shill Teddy or shill Hilly was less than worthless. My work against my Rep who supported gun control will likely keep her from reelection.
          Just a thought.
When I say there is not a candidate to vote for, I mean there is no candidate to vote for. You want to man some phone lines with me to hassle these punks into doing the right thing once in a while? Could use some day to day help.

    17. PeterFrancisco says:

To me, the entire slate of Southern primaries reeks of voter fraud. The number of ballots cast in these states seems to be way outsized for a Democratic primary. It would not surprise me if you had thousands of BLM members register in multiple Southern states under multiple fake names and dummy addresses.

That leads me to another point: if you are African-American, and work for a living, exactly what is Hitlary Cunton going to do for you besides nothing? Look at the bottom end of the wage scale in this country, which is where you are going to find the bulk of African-American wage earners. Bernie is proposing a $15 minimum wage, versus $12 from Hitlary. Bernie is proposing Medicare for all, versus Hitlary’s recycled version of Obamacare, where you still have to pay out of your own pocket. Bernie’s college proposal is modeled on Germany’s zero-cost system, while Hitlary is going to keep our current boiler-room scam of college education going. That means if you are African-American and work for a living, a vote for Hitlary is a vote against your own economic self interest.

What do I think is going on? BLM is sending operatives into certain parts of the African-American community with its true agenda. BLM is to ISIS what Sinn Fein is to the IRA. Hitlary gets in the White House, Hitlary starts WWIII with Russia, who will make very short work of the US. Hitlary sends white people into the Russian meat grinder while BLM comes in through the back door to overrun what’s left of the US.

    18. My primary isn’t until June 7. Not sure who will still be standing at that point. Ted Cruz is not eligible to run for President, period.
Third Party. Most voters are not part of the D/R corporate machine anymore. They can do “whatever” but nobody wants them anymore. It will break.

    19. H Muller says:

The article pointed out some general problems with the election but nothing that worked to Hillary’s advantage and against Sanders. Were Hillary supporters put in short lines and Sanders supporters made to wait in really long lines? No, it seems everyone got screwed equally.

I hate the bitch as much as anyone. I’m just saying the article failed to prove its premise, which makes the author look really lame.

      • Plan twice, prep once says:

Per the story many people who have been registered democrats for years got to polls and found they were off the rolls and couldn’t vote.

Democrats have bragged they have the most sophisticated voter database ever constructed and know all about virtually every Americans voting habits and preferences. They can pretty much predict who you’ll vote for and remove you from the rolls weeks in advance.

There was nothing random about these voting irregularities.

This master database was used by Obama to great effect in both of his elections. For the moment the party is using it to back Hillary, and attack Trump.

    20. KY Mom says:

Ted Cruz Gains in Louisiana After Loss There to Donald Trump

“Donald Trump beat Sen. Ted Cruz earlier this month in Louisiana’s Republican presidential primary by 3.6 percentage points, but the Texan may wind up with as many as 10 more delegates from the state than the businessman.

Mr. Cruz’s supporters also seized five of Louisiana’s six slots on the three powerful committees that will write the rules and platform at the Republican National Convention and mediate disputes over delegates’ eligibility this summer in Cleveland.

The little-noticed inside maneuvering that led to this outcome in Louisiana is another dramatic illustration of the inside game that could have an outsize influence on the bitter race for the GOP nomination. A similar process played out three weeks ago in Coweta County, Ga.

While Mr. Trump leads in winning primary and caucus elections, and has won more delegates, the Cruz campaign is proving superior at the arcane game of picking the people who will be the actual delegates to the convention, where they will help write the rules and ultimately choose the nominee.”

I do not see any other way to endure the barrage of negativity this nation has bestowed upon itself except by prepping. The bad part is that it never stops in politics. The presidential election goes by and the you have Congressional crap. Then you may get the State Elections and again Hometown elections and the division between people gets deeper.

Most people do not notice this until they have a few years under their belt. Been there, done that, seen it all before. Only we are real tired of it all and nothing is DONE RIGHT! Always Half Assed.

We will have to listen to more of this stuff and then after the election, have to wait and see what happens. We do have a good idea what will happen with either presidential candidate.

They want to fool you by taking sides in a fixed system so that you are happy the next time a banker screws you over or the “Corporation entity” gets more rights than you have.

if you want change then the only way you will get one is to start a revolution but chances are your now convinced that you need “them” or else all hell will break losse and you will die in a land full of rain looking for something to drink.

Considering how many D voters were showing up and finding themselves unable to vote, because they were registered Republicans…
One of the RNC boys said in an interview that there are 20 million “registered” Republicans. Trying to find exact numbers, the data is all over the place, and qualified with “identify as” or “self-identified as,” putting the number much higher… depending on who is talking, 28 to 35 percent. If 20 million is an actual R number, as stated by the RNC official, then that is only 13% of registered voters. Then Trump has more like 6%. What a scam!
All seem to agree that there are 201.5 potential voters, and 150 million registered voters.
I haven’t found real figures for the Democrats online yet… just the amorphous “more than”. The “self identified” scam is estimated with the same types of variance.
We looking at a quarter of the voters here? 10% ????
