Editor’s Comment: This tax season, as you settle your debt with Uncle Sam, remember that nothing else in life cost you as much as your contributions to the federal government – the expense of policies you quite possibly don’t agree with at all are taking up more of your financial capitol (or energy) than anything else!

In the current context, taxes do a great job at regulating individuals who might become independently wealthy, or seek to operate on the basis of unique ideas and hard work, and instead, gruelingly punish the average American, and mold him into a subservient and compliant member of the crowd who does and pays what he is told on punishment of retribution, fines and debtor’s prison for failure to pay one’s proper share.

Meanwhile, the monetary system itself operates on the basis of a parasite, sucking off interest from every Federal Reserve note issued, making all those living by the dollar also subjugated to the ultimate control of the banks. Each man a serf, happiest when he is consumed with iPhones and entertainment, and easily reformed, if he errs, through the punishments of greater taxes and greater scrutiny over his transactions and any possible means of personal advancement, enrichment or entrepreneurship.

You Probably Spend More On Taxes Than Food, Clothing, and Housing Combined

by Joshua Krause

Are you familiar with Tax Freedom Day? No, it isn’t the day after April 15th. According to the Tax Foundation, it’s the day of the year when the average American has earned enough money to pay for all the income taxes they will accumulate throughout the rest of the year. In 2016, that day will fall on April 24th. Or put another way, if you work during all 52 weeks of the year, more than 16 weeks of your labor are going to the IRS.

According to the Tax Foundation’s annual report, Americans are going to spend a total of $5 trillion on federal, state, and local taxes this year, which amounts to about 31% of our nation’s income. That’s almost $1 trillion more than we spend on food, clothing, and housing put together.

Tax Freedom Day happens to fall one day earlier this year than it did last year, but when you consider our government’s deficit spending, the day lands on May 10th. It also varies from state to state. Tax Freedom Day falls on May 21st in Connecticut, but arrives as soon as April 5th in Missouri.

Historically speaking we’re paying way more than our parents and grandparents did. A hundred years ago Tax Freedom Day was in late January. While most Americans will complain about how much they’ll have to fork over on April 15th, they largely have no concept of how much they are paying in a historical context. And to think our ancestors revolted against the British Crown when 1-2 percent of their income was taxed.

Well just another one of the many reasons we need REAL reform from a corrupt government and some NEW non political people in office and even IF we get that i am NOT so sure we can save us at this point. they have sent in to many foreign thinking people and dumbed down our own so bad most of them may never pull there head out of the sand!

Well here is something to add to our tax Burdens.

Obama FREE REFUGEE SETTLEMENT PROGRAM. Yep!!

Headlines: First Syrians leave for US under surge resettlement program
      http://krqe.com/2016/04/06/first-syrians-leave-for-us-under-surge-resettlement-program/

Since October last year, 1,000 Syrian refugees have moved from Jordan to the U.S. The resettlement surge hopes to increase that number ten-fold.

A resettlement surge center opened in Amman in February to meet President Barack Obama’s target of resettling 10,000 Syrians TERRORISTS to the United States by Sep. 30. Every day, the center interviews some 600 Syrian refugee TERRORISTS.

YEP, MORE WELFARE RECIPIENTS TERRORISTS, INFILTRATING EVERY CITY IN AMERICA. These Syrians don’t even know how to speak English.

      • rabbitone says:

Acid here is why taxes are so high…

Taxes today go way beyond the original function they were defined in our constitution. The constitution says “Representatives and direct taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective numbers.… The Congress shall have Power to lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States. …No Tax or Duty shall be laid on Articles exported from any State….” So many believe the sixteen amendment that allows the Congress to levy an income tax without apportioning it among the states or basing it on the United States Census should be illegal and is the start and cause of our tax misery today.

Collectively what law makers have done is leverage constitutional law to mean the individual can be taxed not just for “our share” of the “general Welfare” for the United States but of others who are considered indigent. This has promoted law makers to in act entitlements or basic benefits they consider all people should have whether the system of taxation can support it.

The entitlement system has become a spiral of pass more basic benefits, then raise taxes and repeat the cycle. However lawmaker’s have bankrupted the voters trying to promise more benefits from the system that require tax increases. When tax increases cannot be passed by lawmakers they have gone around their authority and run deficits (to pay for benefits) and have bankrupted America,

Proof of America’s bankruptcy if you have not read it before …

On April 18, the scotus will decide if 80 IQ illegal Mexicans can get Social Security, disability, Medicare, and work permits.

While 25% of white people are unemployed.

And spend more on fucking taxes than food, clothing, and housing combined.

And the Syrians are still coming in. That hasn’t stopped just because you don’t hear shit about it.

I have two fucking jobs. I work every single fucking day of the week and watch it slip through my fucking hands to the worthless, piece of shit government.

I donate old clothes to poor people. And occasionally donate some food. I know other people want to work and wish they had a job. Guess the billions in bonuses given to CEOs for not producing shit is more important. I do feel sorry for other people sometimes.

I only have one thought in my head now. I want to check out of society completely like Manfred Fritz Bajorat. I want to earn enough money to buy enough preps and PMs and shit and a 35 ft yacht and get a kindred spirited submissive Asian girlfriend and just fuck off forever.

I’m too fucking smart and word too fucking hard to put up with this fucking bullshit “new Amerikkka now”.

I used to love American history class.

      Now I fucking hate America.

“Many universities are redoubling their efforts to diversify their faculties in response to last fall’s wave of protests from student groups representing women and minorities. Yale, for example, has announced a $50 million, five-year initiative to enhance faculty diversity. Brown has committed $100 million to hire 60 additional faculty members from historically underrepresented groups over the next five to seven years.”

DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS MEANS? BLACK AND MEXICAN PROFESSORS ARE GOING TO RUN YALE AND BROWN?

I’LL BE HAPPY TO DIVERSIFY THIS MOTHERFUCKER. PUT SOME ASIANS AND JEWS IN THERE. O THATS RIGHT, A LOT OF PROFESSORS ARE ALREADY ASIANS AND JEWS. CAUSE LIKE, THEY HAVE THE IQs TO DO IT.

“12% of university faculty identify as politically right of center, and these are mainly professors in schools of engineering and other professional schools. Only 5% of professors in the humanities and social-science departments so identify.”

“96% of social psychologists identify as left of center, 3.7% as centrist/moderate and only 0.03% as right of center.”

And China is unloading its biggest problem on the rest of the world

there is going to be a huge glut of China shit being pushed on every country around the globe

their problematic economy(and ours) is tanking fast and hard too many companies producing , state owned corps. producing way past their needs and now its eating up their profits
they cant just shutter these companies due to the the debt the banks hold on them

Its just getting started and yes , its going to effect us here .. no matter if you pay attention to it or not , it is a global economy now thanks to these heads of states and governments ,,. we have been fucked by the oligarchs and the greed need , and banks

there just isn’t the demand for the amount being produced all over the world , but yet the greedy bastards wont slow the roll

an implosion of epic proportions is on the way

    Buy food!

its happening here too , and this will affect most everyone

    • Kulafarmer says:

Canned foods sre good wayyyy beyond the expiration date,
Use some common sense when eating past date foods, obviously,
If cans are bulging or if product looks or smells off, ususlly its both if its bad.
      Even stuff like granola bars,
Some stuff can be spruced up, like i was eating granola bars with a 2014 expiration, tasted fine but werent crunchy, stuck them in the oven laid out on baking sheets added a drizzle of honey over all of them, made a huge difference, made them crunchy again and a little sweeter,
Stale crackers can be crisped up same way, a spritz of salt water before sticking them in oven helps.

      • The old guard here still posts relevant, useful information.

        Thank you Kula.

      • grandee says:

As a people, we really need to start becoming more self sufficient. Canned corn and beans from your garden are still the same price as 50 yr ago, especially if you save ur own seeds.

Cook from scratch if you have to buy from a store. It saves many pennies from ur grocery budget. Also more healthy for you.

Make ur own clothes! They will last longer. Plenty of places to buy fabric. Visit a fabric store in an Amish or Mennonite community.

This month I’m making jellies from violets, dandelions, clover, lilac and peony flowers. All from the back yard!

Don’t let The tax man steal you joy.

      • Luke Warm says:

You could also chop up the granola bars and toss on top of a bowl of cereal or oatmeal…or slice some apples into a bake dish, top with chopped up granola bar and some butter and cinnamon and bake it like an Apple Betty.

    • TheGuy says:

Here is a more interesting question.

How long do you expect said implosion to last?

I mean before things are somehow forced back to “normal”.

If the answer is “forever” I must strongly recommend group farming projects (groups of 3-5 dozen like minded people) as it’s your only chance.

You can prep enough to survive… shrug? 10 years if you prep super hard. Maybe…

    • Philosopher says:

That reminds me of Alexis de Tocqueville, quoted, below:

“The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.”

“Americans are so enameled of equality, they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.”

“Democracy extends the sphere of individual freedom, socialism restricts it. Democracy attaches all possible value to each man; socialism makes each man a mere agent, a mere number. Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word: equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in Liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude.”

“Liberty cannot be established without morality, nor morality without faith.”

“When the taste for physical gratifications among them has grown more rapidly than their education . . . the time will come when men are carried away and lose all self-restraint . . . . It is not necessary to do violence to such a people in order to strip them of the rights they enjoy; they themselves willingly loosen their hold . . . . they neglect their chief business which is to remain their own masters.”

      Indeed.

NATO is not necessary at this point in time. It is a huge waste of money. Turkey is part of NATO. Why? The Turkish PM Erdogan is an Islamic supremacist and islamofascist that is blackmailing Europe and still allowing smugglers to exploit poor people from various parts of the Middle East and Africa and Erdogan is purposefully flooding Europe with these barbarians that are in Europe for one reason: the generous welfare benefits. Sure. Until Europe collapses and there is no money left to hand out.

The refugee laws are out of date and leftover from WW II and are, obviously, no longer effective.

    • hammerhead says:

NATO is simply wealth re-distribution on a global scale.

  6. Hoosier says:

I did tax returns for a short while with a well-known organization. The EIC (earned income credit) is a little known means of “redistributing wealth” (one of Marx’s planks of establishing communism). One particular gay couple (married?) with 4 children got back over 10,000 dollars thru this scheme. Our pockets were picked to contribute to this “bravo sierra”. And these people think they deserve it!!! Of course there were a multitude of others that knocked down thousands of dollars. Just think what will happen when this “benefit” goes out the window….
The whole tax system and federal reserve are Siamese twins that are corrupt, thieving, murdering scum. Before 1913 all U.S. citizens went home with a paycheck that was a whole paycheck. Wouldn’t they poop a load of bricks to see what their ancestry have come to tolerate.

    The Taxes!!!!
This is why I only buy things for my prepps. I have always wondered what will the people do when the tax rate reaches 51%?

I know now. Look at how people are voting. The Zombies and Leaches what it at 90% (Sanders)so they get free stuff, and the Doers and working bees are just now waking up.

One day there will come a time where you have to pick a side, because the workers are going to say enough is enough. You had better spent you money on your PREPPS.

Income Tax is an Excise Tax.

Go Read Dave Champion’s Book entitled “Income Tax: Shattering the Myths”

It’s the greatest read on the topic one could ever find.
it painstakingly details what the income tax actually is (not what people believe falsely what it is), whom its upon and under what circumstances, the Supreme Court rulings pertaining to Income Tax, The US Treasury Decisions, the authority of the IRS according to IRS own documents, what the law ACTUALLY says… etc etc etc

The best book ever on the topic

Here’s a link to a youtube video about it:

  10. I am not going to die over excessive taxes.
Earn less pay less. Get rid of the debt that holds you working in the highest tax bracket, although most high earners get a lot of deductions Get self-sufficient and provide for your basics, because you can either buy your basics after taxes or you can create them outside the corporate tax system. I just planted painted mountain corn bought from an individual. He has a website and lives in the mountains. I will never have to buy it again because I will save seed. It will grown on rainfall alone, no water bill. I need lime to nixtamalize it for greater digestibility and nutrition, $3 for a small bag at the store… but I will burn a chunk of juniper and collect 1 cup ashes to make lime without corporations and without plastic and without the
government, you won’t need a bonfire and permits. I can eat corn ad infinitum without cash, credit, or taxes. Look at everything in your life this way and get busy.
Every hour of labor at home is not accompanied by 1/4 hour for taxes.  Work for you more than you work for the company store.
Incorporate and deduct every penny spent on your business. Create skills and create a business.

      Bingo,,,
      I am just working less,

If i want something i ramp it up then stop when i get what i was after
Theres life out there beyond the system they say you need to conform to, thats where im going to be at, way off on the side

      • Sgt. Dale says:

        Kula!

I cut back starting this year for two reasons.
#1 Tired of paying taxes to support all the Leaches and Zombies.
#2 Spend more time with my wife and kids, and grandkids.

I just found out that my Social Security I have to pay in more taxes on my S.S. After paying into the damn thing for 47 years now I have to pay more taxes on it. Oh well I’m getting screwed and not getting a kiss.

        Sgt.

        • rellik says:

Ditto on the SS problem! There is also a additional hit if you get too much income as WAGES after starting SS, they’ll cut your SS payments 30% or more! If you are planning to live off a pension, plan carefully as you will get a tax hit if your pension exceeds a certain amount. I’m not a tax preparer, but I keep up on the law.
Using a generic pension amount ( 250% of poverty level), if you were collecting SS over 50% of it could be taxable. That could drive up tax due over 60%, that could be extra hundreds of dollars due in April that could surprise you if you don’t plan for it. That is just federal. Everyone’s case is different.

          • Archivist says:

If it’s too big of a surprise, there is an installment payment agreement form you can download, fill out, and send with your 1040 to the IRS. They will stretch the payments out pretty far if you wish.

You can also ask Social Security to withhold some of your check for income tax.

            • rellik says:

              Archivist,
I didn’t know you could stretch out payments.
              Good to know.
I only pay the bastards once a year. Quarterly
estimates are more trouble than it’s worth, and
they only bill you if the penalty is pretty high.
I have not had a refund in over 30 years, and they
have never send me a bill for penalties for
shorting them. I keep the penalties below $100.
I’d rather keep the money than hope they send
              a refund.

              • Archivist says:

The Installment Agreement Request, Form 9465, is at:

                ht tps://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f9465.pdf

There is also an online application process at:

                ht tps://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Online-Payment-Agreement-Application

I’m hoping SHTF in the future might cut my term short. Right now, I think it’s at about 8 years.

So, yes, you can stretch it out pretty far, depending on how much you owe. And it takes months before they actually start the deductions from your checking account. I had a question about my situation last year. I just got a letter this week from them saying that they need a few more months to address the request.

I’m thinking that the minions are slow and perhaps don’t really care. But the ones I’ve talked to on the phone have always been friendly and knowledgeable, and they seem to want to be helpful, especially since I seem a little “slow” on the phone. If things don’t collapse, I’ll eventually get it all paid up.

If they’re not worried about my balance, I’m not worried.

    • Holy cow! Two posts with reasonable, positive information! There is hope in the world!

I am fairly anti establishment, smaller government type of guy. But it has occurred to me as I get older, when the great reset happens, what shall spring up in it’s place?

Everyone bitches about taxes and government workers, but I don’t see them providing water, power, sewer, police, fire, telephone, internet, criminal system, etc…No it is not perfect, but apparently it is the best we can do. WE ARE the government. I know everyone likes to believe in the big bad boogey man, blame Soros, blame the jews – what I see is a common theme. Blame someone else for your woes.

I also don’t see civilization surviving in any type of metro situation. Are we to devolve into tribal groups and work locally? Certainly this is effective, but we might have to give up Facebook.

Is this still possible with the generations coming up?

      • Kulafarmer says:

        Townsaver,
        Government here DOES NOT PROVIDE
        Power
        Telephone
        Internet
        they DO PROVIDE SORTA
Sewer, but were not and 90% of the homes are not connected to county sewer
Water, yes and no, about 1/3 of the island is on catchment or private systems
Police,,,,, yea true but these guys show up after the fact and maybe take a report
Cops are generally 45-60 minues away for my neighborhood
Fire, yea, the fire guys are ok,,, mostly accident mop up
Criminal system? Its there but quite lopsided,
A guy like me would get a 30 year sentence for waving a gun around
Some punk ass local guy with a mile long record will get 10 years for killing his girlfriend while high on ice,,,, so guess theres some sorta system,,,
Personally i just will work less if i want to pay less, seems to be working so far

It would be helpful if some of y’all get politically active and help out. Or step outside the D/R corporate machine and work with political activists. Step clear out, get self-sustaining and quit feeding the corporate machine that is our worst succubus. Hysterical talk of genocide fades to hysterical talk of suicide. Hunh.
Beautiful day out… I planted a few things and am digging footings for my underground cabin. Still filling raised beds. I am content. Hunh.

Would that be Painted Mountain corn from: sustainableseedco.com from montana?

      • Hi Dave,
I have looked at those sources for painted mountain corn but bought from rockymountaincorn.com (?) It is grown at closer to my altitude, I am about 7500 feet altitude. I got quite a bit, considering my space is limited still. If I get 500-600 kernels perseed, it will be enough for just me. I went all M&Ms with it! Planted a couple of each color. Considered going toward single color, but a lot more phytonutrients in multicolor. Don’t forget nixtamalization.

Flat tax. No payroll deduction. They get a free loan on my money for most of the year. Then you pay on Tax Day. No exception or you go to jail.

Taxes and IRS have been ratified by Congress? A necessary evil. Paying them to screw us. We are soooooo smart.

    • Kulafarmer says:

      Congres, lifetime 2 term limits
No money for campaigns over the amount of 20$ donations
      No federal funds for running
      No lifetime benefits
      No retirement
No insider anything, they need to be held to same laws as us
      No slush funds
Limit of one assistant per member
      Limit on housing expenses
      Limit on travel expenses
      Limit on subsistence expenses
      Etc etc etc

    • Kulafarmer says:

I have to disagree on the jail part, NOBODY benefits from that,
Charging interest is far more effective, incarceration costs the system, intrest makes it more revenue

    • Dave in idaho says:

No IRS, No Flat tax….A VAT Tax (fancy name for sales tax)…the more you spend, the more taxes you pay at a FIXED rate AND it takes a Nation Wide Vote to raise the percentage. No state Tax..No other taxes. The richer you are, the more stuff you buy (except for scrooge). This way everyone pays their fair share without corporation welfare and other loopholes. 1 term in congress. no donations. free equal advertisement equally distributed. No working for corporations that a politician has voted on a bill that favors said corporation.

      • This will NEVER happen. Grow food. exercise, hike, eat properly and practice.

        • Dave,
I agree, it will never happen, because the current system hides the specifics of graft and corruption tied into our tax system. A reasonable and fair system would be a relief. I fight for it… but am opting out of supporting the existing system. Exercise, eating well, gardening, reducing need for the monster. We all buy in to some extent. I am fading out of the corporate maw.

I want a lump sum payment of EVERY LAST DIME I PAID TO SS WITH INTEREST before these shitheads in the freakin government give ANYTHING to any illegal or otherwise immigrants,,,,

  15. Kulafarmer says:

    You government people suck,,,
A total reset and bedlam cant come soon enough

  16. Kulafarmer says:

    Sorry for ranting,
    Am just over this crap

    • “Agreed, i have a bit more wide spread and catastrophic desire personally, dont care about the people who say im nuts or whatever, im pretty much just had it with this crap”

      Kula –

You are perfectly normal – anybody who thinks different is certainly not right in the head.

No need to apologize for ranting.
      Keep that ‘Mojo going!

    • rellik says:

Rant on! If I were to really say how I felt the, Thought police would be beating down my door, and shooting my animals. I would never violate any Federal, state, or local law, that is my line and I’m sticking to it.

  17. Nubmaeme says:

I started receiving social security last year. Now, all my working life, ss was subtracted from my pay after the federal tax was, so taxes have already been paid on that money. When I did my taxes this year, $1000 was subtracted from my refund for taxes on the ss I had received. That money has now been taxed twice. I now have 10% subtracted each month from what little ss I get just to pay next year’s taxes, if we’re still here by then. Before y’all start with where’s my IRA/401K. I used most of my IRA in 2008 just before the crash to buy my house. Lost the rest of it to the crash and never recovered. My 401K was a joke, but that’s another story, so I closed it out and lived off the money when I had to have 3 surgeries after I broke my leg in 2010.

  18. This problem is also the solution. People are apathetic until you stick a gun in their face and rob them. Once people come to the full realization that they are being robbed because of the Federal Reserve Illegal system that was the real reason for the American Revolution, they will understand why they struggle from day to day to pay their bills. There will be the final American Revolution. The greedy Banksters are on their last breath before they expire. And good reddens. We will all say,” Free at last, free at last, God Almighty, I’m free at last”.

    • De Rothchild family are the richest family in the world. Rockefeller, Morgan, Carnegie, on and on are all fronts. All banks are really one bank owned by De Rothchilds. We defeated ourselves in WW1&2. De Rothchilds own Isreal. We pay thru our tax dollars for everyone in Israal to go to college. We give each and every Isreali’ money from our tax dollars. We send them bombs marked USA that they use and cause the rest of the world to hate us. If our elected officials are whores, they are paid by the Isralis Zionists (used to be called communists) with our tax money. How’s that for getting screwed.

    • Mr Smith says:

People are like that because i think they are being drugged with something in the food or water we are eating.

Sperm counts are down and the youth of today act like girls and half of them are benders due to the medication being feed to them by the state.

    • YankeeTexan says:

Wasn’t the American Revolution like over 100 years before the Fed was invented?

  19. aljamo says:

Like I said once before I have earned a little over 104 grand in my lifetime and have never worked under the table or dealt drugs. Now I live off a VA disability pension which is not much. Who knows how long that will last since the system is flat broke. Many people can just live off of less. I’ve never been one to chase money. Minimalist style. I have protested this system since returning from Vietnam in early ’72. Still of the same mindset.

    • Kulafarmer says:

Thanks Aljamo, folks like you will always find support from someone like me if i can do it.

    • rellik says:

      alj,
Thank you for your service. VA pensions are way too small. I’m classified as SC disabled, but not enough to get a stipend, I see the guys at the clinic, that are missing major pieces of their bodies and they get squat per month for it.
I get VA medical only. DOD isn’t broke yet( VA is funded by Defense budget), but most problems are caused by bad administrators and government unions. In my experience the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii are pretty good( my VA enrollment was pretty painless). I understand the east coast is really bad.
One thing I do know, is at least in my part of the country, there is not reason for any vet to starve, be homeless, or not get some help if they want it.

looking at getting a rental income of about 1700 per month with paid for low cost rental housing. Retire to a paid for trailer so I will have low property taxes. I will redo the interior with top of the line finishes but from the outside it will look like a 5K trailer. And Then I will become a democrat and apply for every free program I can. Earning about 20K per year will give me free obama care and seems to be a sweet spot for no income taxes. and I will become a leach…

  21. Shelly73 says:

You know seams to me that somewhere in our American history that we went to war over being taxed to much. Have we not learned nothing from our past.

    • Kulafarmer says:

      Apparently not

      • Kulafarmer…
it wasn’t too much tax, about 1 or 2 percent. It was taxation without representation. And our current feeling of not being represented is what is causing the most anger now.
        only the rich are represented

        • Shelly73 says:

I didnt want to mention that because i wasnt sure it was correct.but it surely is getting rediculouse with taxes.and also not having representation.

          • Shelley
Yes, we pay a lot in taxes. So much of it goes to the military-industrial complex, mostly driven by good Republicans. The military-industrial complex protects all those corporations overseas, and we are supporting over 700 military bases to protect corporations that are off shoring jobs. Under the cover of the Afghan war, over 60 corporations moved manufacturing to Pakistan, and our good Republicans won’t bring them home. A smaller amount goes to social programs like unemplotment, which is astronomical now due to military protection of removing jobs. Good Democrats vote for all those social programs to protect poor Americans, but never think that people want jobs instead. Too busy helping good Republicans offshore jobs. Good Republicans and good Democrats keep the borders wide open to let in illegals… they come from corruption and don’t know different. Keeps corporations happy with endless push down on wages.
I am a Libertarian by nature… but this country is run by good Republicans and good Democrats. It has already collapsed under the weight… but it will get worse as our resilience disappears. .. also known as savings.

Robots. Robots will save us. Or, kill us. Either way, problem solved.

  23. Asshat says:

cant do anything about the taxing of paychecks. But you can buy stuff off Craig’s list and yard sales without paying tax again. Online stuff is tax free but you get zapped with shipping sometimes. I say just keep your $ bushcraft the stuff you need. It’s much cooler and you refine your skills save$. Everytime a new tax is imposed I spend less.

  24. swinging richard says:

I expect to be taxed. I hate to see where it is spent.

  25. Mr Smith says:

The cost of eating out starts to be taxes as the sun light hits the ground in a famers fields because the land is taxed and so is his profits and so is the gas needed to transport the heads of beef to the market.

Compound taxes mean that in the UK the averange man with two kids and a wife staying at home pays on average 74% in visible and hidden taxes.

Bend over for the bankers, this won’t hurt much

  26. CuzzinJim says:

They got pretty much a third of my paycheck already, and I still owe them $1500. I’m glad I get to pay that much though because all the illegal immigrants and sorry mofo’s that don’t want to work depend on me getting up and being at work at 6:30 every morning. I especially like the fact that we give people from other countries who have never paid a dime of taxes here, free money to open their gas station, liquor store, and motel, so they can swap with their relatives every 7 years so they never have to pay anything back. Hell, maybe next year I can pay more. That would be great!!!!

  27. Joatmon says:

Haven’t read all posts, but has to be said. Elect Bernie and our Tax Freedom Day will be sometime in the Fall.

  28. I am John Galt. Who are you?

  29. Marcus of Arrington says:

My wife just called me with the numbers for what we need to shell out this year in taxes. Effectively double what we paid last year. Something in the tax code changed for the worse. It’s common knowledge that the more you work to catch up, the more they are taking. There is no more get-ahead. A horse can only run so long before he collapses.

  30. Knight2 says:

Amazing that we pay these MF’ers to fu^k us every chance they get. We are all slaves. Too many taxes, too many laws, and way too much government! Yes, the shtf one day.
